Great job Troy. Definitely an under appreciated bassline, I think because the entire production is so outstanding and the coda of that tune is pop perfection. There are a few KZbin clips of her performing Xanadu live that are very charming. In the 80s, Olivia owned an Aussie-themed gift shop/café in Hollywood called Koala Blue. I met her there once while having an iced coffee. I think she might have been the first celebrity I ever met. She was 100% as nice and lovely as you could imagine.

Soooo, I naturally HAD to go back into your archives and revisit your video video from 14 years ago! I enjoyed reading your comments and of your Fan Base too! I actually thought Olivia Newton John's Best Song was "You're The One That I Want" with John Travolta! It was a "Rough" side of her that she didn't really show too often AND the Bass line in that song is really killer sounding! You nailed it too Troy in comparing her with ABBA sound wise! I can see and hear that! I have to say, she was quite the LQQKER too and the Aussie accent...WOO WAH LAH 😍 Fact is, your original plan back in Feb. to use this for April Fools Day STILL works Today on National Cat Day...2/23/24....so it was PURR-FECT Timing! 🤣 MOO From COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋 ps....Troy, it might just be me....BUT....I have always enjoyed your Salute To Dirk, Lerxst and The Professor with your "3113" next to your Initials! 2112 Keeps Giving!

If I do go back and re-do some older Rush songs, Xanadu will definitely be one of them. I remember a few of her albums floating around the apartment when I was a kid and she was easy on the eyes. So, I went with 3113 as a nod to my fondness for Halloween and Horror in general. Thanks and take care!
