I used to play metal but found a slot in a killer blues band that lets me shred for 90% of my show and I love it. When it comes to gear I use a ltd te-200 as a backup guitar and its one of the best tele's I've ever played. Not just a metal machine, the c shaped neck and extra jumbo frets play fast as hell and the stock pickups (not the emg's) are hot but not too hot and includes a coil split so it makes a perfect rock/metal guitar that also works great for blues. Rock on.

I own 2 electric guitars. Both LTD guitars. I actually owned a PRS custom 24 and ended up selling it after owning it for 20 years because I liked the LTDs way better. Funny because I payed $3000 for the PRS. I payed $120 for my LTD V at Pawn America. And $250 for my LTD EC-401QM. 🤣
