If you put your bestsellers by the door, then your customers have no incentive to go any further into the store. They'll have their backs to the rest, even the Sale Bin! If you put the big sellars on the back wall, then customers must walk by the other items to get to what they think they want. Put the Daily Sales by the door to draw people in...

For the logo, get a custom model made of letters in the Aldi-style font, but saying something like "xBeef's" (or "HF", or "½F"). The model would work similar to Grian's paintings, so all you really need is a flat texture.

Great episode, wasn't expecting a supermarket, but that totally works and fits your modern aesthetic! One of the only foods that has a conflict with your permit is honey bottles, so maybe you can use that as an excuse to give papa k a little "au natural" honey stand out front Also spider eyes are considered food (or were?) i like the transition from modern closer to your base to more natural farther away. the natural looking spot you have at the origin point of the stream is great too. your build reminds me of the falling water house by Frank Lloyd Wright. it will be interesting to see what Keralis does with the bridge.

I remember ilmango mentioning at some point that pumpkins and melons grow faster when theyre checkered together than when theyre monocrops. Im guessing is that each square has two chances to grow something instead of one? I think the thing for the straight line is a tree or shrub, closer to the front. The water can go straight behind it, but the tree would have the edges

Some supermarket psychology for you xb. Veggies and fruit are by he door because they look better under the natural light. Where as meats etc. are at the back because they look better under artificial light. Everyday essentials, bread, milk, eggs etc. are at the back and down many aisles to make you walk past more products to get them. Hope this helps. Plus in the UK we do have Aldi. Good luck.

In my country the supermarket or grocery store has started to sell "all natural, locally grown vegetables" and replacing local market so I think the modern store style works just fine. Also, you both can hire Cleo to do armor stand magic to add to the atmosphere, maybe a cashier.

Aldi are everywhere... we have a lot of Aldi's here in UK. They're a German company. Yes, we have Tesco too :)
