My favorite will always be Ben, but Gary's death made me the angriest. Not at the COG who killed him, but the devs for literally giving him no dialogue and killing him off in less than 5 minutes. What makes it worse is after hearing his dialogue in 5, he would have been a great character. He has the youthful energy and scrawny figure of Ben, the (lack of) tactical awareness of Anthony, but the vengeful anger of Clayton.

But remember that Dom and Anya were also Clayton's friend (not as close obviously, but still). Clayton has then also lost two of his brother's, his Niece, and his cousin, as well as his friends. I'm sorry, but whilst i get Marcus has had a shit time, Clayton is the true "Sole Survivor" type guy. also also, Marcus gave up on the COG, and opted for a quiet life; we know Clayton never left the COG, instead being promoted and becoming a Trainer for new recruits, meaning he probably lost even more people he knew through 25 years of battles.

Clayton is 25-27 in gears 3 , pressumibly the father of gary because lizzie calls him uncle. D. Carmin is the 2nd oldest of the 4, pressumibly the father of lizzie. Anthony was approximitly 19 to 20 years old in Gears 1. Benjamin was likely around 17 to 18 years old in Gears 2. I think since Ben tells dom to tell his brothers ( Clayton & D. Carmine) and his mom that he loves them, It would be really cool if the brother's Father was also a COG during E-Day. Unless if the Gears Judgement easter egg was canon and the family were insurance reps.

Ben got it rough, jesus christ. Anthony, Gary and Lizzie all got insta deaths, but poor Ben got his stomach ripped out and burnt alive in acid....yeesh. someone headshot the man for his misery. Also, notice how Clayton got his armor upgraded because of Ben and Anthony? his helmet is now bullet reflective (or shatter reflected, as mentioned in lore) which he had the idea of from Anthony's death, and his armor is also Acid resistant. In Lore it's also noticed that he has a huge hatred for anything resembling worms, and will shoot them on sight. Go Clayton. If they ever kill Clayton Carmine, ya'll know imma be pissed af. The hammer of dawn is like a very hot beam of light that burns like the surface of the sun. Just the impact of a fully charged blast leaves craters man. Till this day, I will always feel bad for Clayton. The last Carmine left. My favorite Carmine is either Lizzie or Anthony. Poor Ben just wasn't prepared for anything and scared. Ben and Lizzie was the saddest in my opinion. The best looking Carmine is Gary or Clayton though

Benjamin was my favorite I felt bad he died in the rift but at least he was always cheerful even when times got tough and it hurt to see him die the way he did but aside from him Clayton was awesome too
