Aside from the obvious, “Xbox one has no games”, it’s amazing how Microsoft has turned the console around in recent years. They pretty much got rid of all the things that turned people away from it, like the DRM and Kinect, added an amazing service with Game Pass, and made the system much cheaper with the S. It’s really easy to say “Xbox has nothing”, but I don’t think anyone ever looks stops to look at it now rather than when it was revealed. Hell, If it weren’t for Xbox commissioning Insomniac to make Sunset overdrive, then Spider-Man on PS4 wouldn’t be the game it is now

I think the thing with PlayStation is that third parties create the variety for it (RPGs, platformers, puzzle games, etc) while most of the third party offerings on Xbox are shooters or third person action games.

I have so much buyers remorse for the X1 and it's all thanks to MS being cool with PC gaming for once (I also own a gaming PC). Sunset was a system seller for me and now it's on Steam. Games Pass is also now on PC and all other first party games are now guaranteed to also drop on PC so my X1 currently lives in it's box. I don't care about back compat games (too many new games for me to be buying / playing old ones), but I think it's nice that MS is doing it. I can't complain about MS being cool, but man I have no reasons to play games on my X1.

Fun fact: When Rare Replay was released, the XBone had a bigger library of N64 games than Nintendo's current console at the time, the Wii U

Yet the Emulation is no better; it's more accurate, but they also kept the fluctuating framerates when the XB1 is already technically capable of overclocking the emulation to eliminate the FPS fluctuations. Wii U can barely run overclocked N64 emulation as it can randomly suffer a software crash and hardfreeze. I just wish I can play Conker's Bad Fur Day with a more stable framerate, but they don't give you such an option, so I had to buy Live and Reloaded from the Microsoft Store. Yeah, people hate it, but at least it's not slow as molasses... Also you're wrong about the N64 game count on Wii U at the time; there was about 7, including Donkey Kong 64, but Rare Replay only has 4, not counting the Banjo games or Perfect Dark as they use the XBLA versions.

One of the many reason I originally left Xbox was because of the clunky dashboard and the abysmal failure of the Master Chief Collection. How broken that game was frustrated me to the point of selling the console. i'm gonna be honest, this one kinda sucked. not only was there hardly any actual 'facts' most of it was wrong. The nomenclature about 'gears' as well as xbox sails figures (which havn't been updated recently to make any mention of them worthwhile) just weren't correct. the sea of thieves death tax is without a doubt one of the least interesting things to have ever happened in that game, especially since it was only in the concept phase before being quickly cancelled.

Would have loved to have known details about Scalebound which we know WAS going to be an Xbone exclusive. Maybe thereason why it never came to us, even though a lot of people would have thrown money at it.

The reason was the game had an identity crisis and Xbox wasn't happy with it.

Lots of other games were going to be/were an xbox exclusive too. Just like them, if Scalebound was to come out it would've been added to PC as well. Being an exclusive wasn't the issue.
