Oh yeah, I did this with mine as well before getting the Series X, the One X was pretty powerful but bottlenecked by a standard HDD, a 1TB SSD made it sooooo much better and really feel like a big mid gen almost next gen upgrade man 😄
@zybch3 жыл бұрын
@@johny1220 it was bottlenecked by the SATA interface, not the drive itself. The og and S only did 40MB/sec, one X upped it to 60. The drives themselves were capable of close to double. So adding an internal ssd is just stupid unless it's for reliability. You want ssd speeds then your only real option is an external usb ssd and they work great.

Something this guy may not have thought to do was to change the Sata 3 programming controller on the ssd to Match what the Xbox one s can handle. For an x this wouldn't matter. He may find speed and texture loading improvements this way... I used to run a 1tb internal hdd upgrade on my ps3 and discovered that games loaded way better with less fps screen tear issues when I converted the samsung hdd to sata 1 by using a utility that was written for it to do that for systems that was incompatible with the backwards compatibility mode of Satan 2 to 1...

I won't spend money on something like this till they find a way to externally install something that can generally make the console run better on high graphic games without having locked settings. Like the series s. Course I'm not downplaying it because I switched to that system after sony did me a fuck and suspended my account for 60 days. This console runs so much better than the pro and im having a blast with it. Both series s and x support rtx. And I'm enjoying the view in maneater 220 isn't worth taking 20-30 seconds off the loading times cuz I'm used to all that shit. I sat on gta a lot so loading times don't bother me. The one game that made it unbearable to play cuz of the loading times was days gone. I love the game but man those loading times are worse than gta's.

Days gone does not take that long to load. Are you serious? I went SSD with my ps4 Pro and That game loads in line 30 second or less.. Nothing like gta, still 1 minute 30 second plus even with ssd
