The games for the 360 are ok, it's just that I really and I mean REALLY hated the dashboard and store for the xbox. The constant spamming for Zune/Xbox music subscriptions and lack of digital downloads for newer titles were the Achilles heel for me. The PS3's store and home screen were 100% better imho.

The problem with current generation over previous generations is that it's graphics over content, developers create the most gorgeous looking games but don't make all the features available or forget about entire mechanics that make the game technically worse than the previous available on 360 or the original Xbox

My example is, Battlefront EA vs Battlefront 1 & 2, Dead Rising 4 vs Dead Rising 1, Halo 5 vs any other Halo game, mafia 3 vs mafia 2, and ect. Battlefront is case and point here, it was originally made for the original Xbox, PS2, PC, and even PSP yet it has far more content and options available than battlefront EA, who made a pretty looking Star Wars game but doesn't even have the depth that even Battlefield 4 had, I could potentially say that battlefield games are getting prettier but more bare. Halo 5 is another big disappointment, the game looks pretty for sure, rocking that nice 60 Fps, but what's the point when every other halo game, even 4 had all its features including split screen multiplayer on day one. Devs are either getting lazier or their focus isn't in the right place.

lzhlzh mafia 3 is missing features available to Mafia 2 such as (and this is just the tip of the iceberg): getting arrested or fined by police for speeding, causing mayhem, passing red lights, driving stolen cars and hitting other cars, and this does not only apply to you, but to npcs in the game. But that's not all, you could lock pick cars, take them to garages, fix the car, change the color, the license plate, even tune the engine so you could get away faster, you could then sell the car, or keep it as you're own. ALSO, if your car broke down, you can pull the car over and fix it and get back in, unlike the new one where if the car broke down it broke down and you better get a new car. That's not a nit pick that's missing content that made Mafia different from GTA

Yeah, but none of these games run in 720p. I know that component supports up to 1080i, but the vast majority of games ran at 480p because that was the standard at the time, and the bump in resolution usually only applied to games that weren't very demanding, like sports games, racing games, and fighting games. Plus the official component cables go for like $30-$50 so you'd have to use the shitty knockoff ones unless you want to shell out that money. You're better of playing them in an Xbox 360. But yeah, my point was these games are 480p.

Even though I was born in '04, I remember playing Need For Speed Carbon and Star Wars Battlefront 2 on the first X-Box. It's still chugging on, and I'll probably cry when it dies for good. I play with it to this day, and I would die to find the copy of Need For Speed I lost so long ago and relive some of those moments I remember so well from years back. I prefer the original Xbox, because I feel it was much more of a step forward in gaming than the Xbox One was. The original was crazy powerful for the time, and the One... wasn't. That said I do like the direction Microsoft is taking the Xbox one, now that Don Mattrick has gone, although I still think that PC gaming is superior to consoles.

I remember a few months after my mum got the original Xbox (bundled with Halo) for my brother and I. We made it to the Silent Cartographer section with the two Hunters in the Courtyard, and we had basically no ammo left. I ran ahead, knowing that there was a rocket launcher just past there, which I could use to take them down. After we finished the section, my brother demanded that I give up the rocket launcher for him to use, despite the fact that I was, at the time, the better player. When I refused, he decided to strangle me, and our Dad walked in to see what the fuss was about. Dad banned us from the Xbox for a month, and from Halo permanently. He never realised we repeated the incident on Halo CE: Anniversary....
