In Roman mythology, Mercury (aka Hermes in Greek mythology) was the messenger of the Gods and the swiftest out of all of them. Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and has the shortest year, hence why she's a messenger in flames. Clever.

Could be wrong, but the song seems to be about Mercury telling Gaia and Venus about their fate being related to the Sun/Sol's death. When the sun starts dying, it means it has run out of Hydrogen from its core to burn off as fuel, so it will start burning off the Hydrogen in its shell instead, rapidly expanding with its luminosity also steadily increasing, this is called the red giant stage of the sun's death. I just realized that the syncopation of the rithm that makes this song feel off might be referring how mercury's orbit shifts ever so slightly and used to be impossible to explain until Einstein came up with his theory of relativity

There is nothing I've wanted more than more celestial jams- Not only is the story the songs are telling so interesting and mystical by the language itself- But the music is so intense and the vocalists all really sound fitting for the goddesses they're portraying and it's just- overall perfect and I hope for more from the series in the future
