LOVE this ab exercise! I have been doing it 5xs a week for 6 months and I definitely can see and feel a difference. I carry all of my excess weight in my stomach, so I have a long way to go still. My neck stopped hurting after a week of doing this consistently, you just have to learn what core muscles to utilize with each exercise. Thank you Rebecca-Louise!

I just read through a lot of posts and there are many misconceptions. Ab workouts are not major calorie burning exercises. A few people asked "If all I did was this, will I get a six pack?". That would only be a yes if you already had a flat stomach and a very low body fat level. We all have a six pack (8 pack actually), but it's underneath a keg in some cases. That's fine, but what we need to focus on is better eating habits. Don't eat before bed is #1 for me. Don't eat junk food, or much less of it. WALK. Walk after your meals, even if it's just a long walk after your main meal. People seem to relate the ab burn as if it were a frying pan and we were burning fat like in a skillet. Sure, it will increase your heart rate and will put you in your fat burning target zone. Some of us will put in the cardio zone for that matter. Ab workouts build our ab muscles, period. That alone will not show you your six pack. It's there, you just need less body fat in between your abs and skin. Ab exercises should always be a part of your workout because we use our core in most exercises. A stronger core means better form, less fatigue, more reps = more muscle, faster metabolism & better health. Once you've started to engage your abs your body will instinctively call on them more during workouts that you wouldn't think were ab related, and therefore you use them more and build your abs more. Not trying to discourage anyone, just the opposite. People get burnt out on exercises because they expect to see results and these workouts do indeed provide results, but if we're overweight, we diet and exercise. Not waste time on trying 5 different ab exercises for 3 days and allow ourselves to quit because we're not losing weight. Once we lose enough weight and we're down to about 20-30% body fat then yes! Do more of these and others (variety is the real key). After a couple weeks or so and you're bf is less, then you will start to see more results faster. If overweight, walk, drink water rather than carbonated anything and get motivated. It's much faster than you think once you stick to it. Push through the first week and watch how great you feel. Doing ab exercises thinking they are a good way to lose weight will only lead to disappointment which will lead to quitting, and eating donuts. Do things for your weight that will show you the best result. For any amount of overweight, try this for 4 days and you will find it hard to stop and feel great as well as see results. 1- Don't eat 2 hours before bed. Water only during that time. 2- Walk every day. Walking after a meal even 200' will help digestion. Walk a fast pace that you can handle but that pushes you and your heart rate. 3- Don't make excuses. Rain or shine. You walk. No saying "well, I did good last night not eating before bed, so this bag of M&M's is ok. 4- Do it for you, not someone else. Although looking good to make an ex feel bad can also be considered doing it for you! 5- Stop focusing on your scale!!! Fat per sq inch is far less dense than muscle. If working out to lose weight correctly you will ALWAYS gain weight, but your body size will decrease and after the first week even, your metabolism can be boosted 200% - 400% which means you will burn more calories at rest. One trick, is peanuts. Peanuts are fatty, but it's a good fat. Peanuts help make your cravings far less. Still keep the no eating before bed rule, but for your last snack have a handful of peanuts. Personally, I wouldn't have been able to stick to the 2-3hr rule if it wasn't for peanuts ;)

Everyone is saying this does not work. Bruhh it does . But you also need to be drinking some water too. Its bad if you don't drink water. You're body needs water to digest and eliminate all that junk. If you don't poop💩 or doesn't drink water how is you're body gonna elimate all the junk. You're totally right! I've given up processed foods and begun a plant based lifestyle 4 months ago and I've never felt better! I drink tons of lemon water throughout the day and my body feels fabulous. It really is a life changing experience. I workout sometimes twice a day breaking up my workouts and absolutely can see the difference. It takes lots of commitment and devotion to this lifestyle but it is totally worth it!

I did this abdominal workout series in 2019- 2020 before getting pregnant, and It worked. I had a six-pack. I started working out again postpartum as soon as I got cleared but haven't done this workout since then. I just did it for the first time now in 2022, and gah, it's still such a fantastic abdominal workout! I will start throwing it back into the mix again!

Hi Janelle Rolston, I think like anything, it depends on age and body type. I am a 41 year old woman with a body that has had children..lol. I am seeing results for sure, but I change up my workouts...that is why I like these XHIT videos...there are a myriad workouts specific for the area you are working out. Sorry I don't have a definite answer! I know within 6 weeks you should notice a difference. Others are finally seeing results on me (I saw probably in week 2 some change) and its been about 8 weeks for me. Good luck! Let me know how you are doing! Love yourself regardless, okay? Peace! :)

Hi Stella! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Life is real busy right now. I honestly think at this point it is more definition I see, the "fat" is going away, but I think my diet is helping with that aspect...the exercise is making my muscles strong and defined...and yes...I see improvement. I had to take a 3 week break since a death of a close friend...but I actually still see the definition, and I am once again back on track. I hope this answered your question. Good luck on sll your goals. Whatever you put your mind to, I trust you can do it! Every day is a gift! Try making sure you are looking up towards the ceiling for most of these exercises. We have a tendency to round out back/neck which can lead to pain :)

I will be doing this routine throughout 2018. I started on the first. I remember doing this workout over the summer and seeing some results in a month or so. I will be trying to see how long it will take me to get abs from this. As of right now, I have a bit of extra weight around my abdomen that holiday calories haven't helped. Okay, it's been about a week. So far, I haven't seen much change physically, but I'm proud of myself for sticking with it this long. the exercises have become a tad easier, and I've found that my neck hurts less after each session, so yay? More updates to come :)

Try to do the same movement but with at least one of your hands supporting your neck. I do it and it stops the neck from hurting so much :)

eman jawad its normal, because u look at ur feet while lay down. let ur neck straight and relax. keep look forward. doesnt mean u cant watch ur feet. but not all the time. only if u feel ur leg not in correct position and if ur body under control then relax ur neck. u got it girl?

As I am sitting on my floor typing this after finally pulling through 60 days. During my 60 days I did this workout twice, and her other "9 exercises for flat stomach" something along the lines. As well with walking/running for 30 mins + everyday, would rest Sunday as well. I also followed a diet which shouldn't even be called that because all I did was eat less and healthier along with lots of water. I was overweight and never took action, my doctor would tell me I need to but I never really understood. I was huge. But doing this for 60 days everyday besides sunday, I've lost 37 pounds and have a flat stomach with partially showing abs (: I'd say to myself before I started I was gonna write this comment and say that it was easy, but it really wasn't. I thought how would this even be worth it in the end, I would get made fun of at school for being overweight and I go to the beach every year so I'd look horrible. I'd cry so much but it's okay to cry because that shows you care so much about yourself, and I thought to myself, If I wanna stop crying and make a change, then I'll do whatever I can. And here I am just finishing day 60 with the body I always imagined. Anyone can do it, use your downfalls as motivation and keep pushing. Hope this gave hope to who read, and if you are a person who is discouraged and reading this comment, that's fate, showing you that you can do it. Good luck all (:

I'm not some model, but surely there are results :) For sure, I do another excercises as well and now I picked up doing bodypump Lessmills program so ... I'll keep trying. But it's one of the best excercises I've ever done (this video :) However, you need to exchange workouts to focus on every muscle, not the same group all the time.

CJE_WOLF I won't attach a before/ after photo (I don't have any :D) but if you wanna know my impression about this- Let me say you REALLY will see a difference, my abs are not totally flat like Rebeca's (I wish they were-)- cause I'm not a real fitness-person like my diet is not perfectly healthy but I still workout like 3 times a week, and it's entertaining, it's my hobby so I'll keep it that way) but surely, my abs are more defined, flatter and also firmer. And a bonus is these moves are really easy, I've come across many excercises but some abs-workout are really too demanding and ... I think hence I can't do them properly the results are not that awesome. But if you're a beginner or you just discovered this video, keep trying and you'll definitely see results yourself. If you will be 100% focused on your diet and life style, results would be probably even better then mine. As I said, I try to avoid sweets, pastry, fat-infused junk etc blah-blah but I'm aware that my diet could be even healthier so I can't give an objective point of view. :) Cause we know it's to a certain degree excercise but also a lifestyle that form your body. Since everybody is so focused on the men in the background or saying how they're just sitting on the bed eating donuts while watching the video i'm going to tell you about my journey so far. I started this ab workout three weeks ago and I have been doing it once a day, 4 days a week. The first week I didn't see much of a difference but my family members and friends have been telling me since that first week that I look as though i've lost weight. Th second week I started to notice a difference in my stomach, it felt tighter and started to look flatter. It has been three weeks today and i measured around my waist and it went down 2.5 inches.Along with this ab workout I do 10 minutes of squats three days a week and I eat a low calorie diet and a salad for lunch everyday and three days a week i will go the whole day without meat. I can't stress this enough. YOU HAVE TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! That is all i've been drinking for the past month and I feel amazing. If you want to lose stomach fat you CANNOT drink a liter of pop everyday. Don't drink you're calories guys. I will keep you guys updated, every week.! 😘

Hey there! How are you going on your journey? I just wanted to give you a little reminder that you don't have to eat really low carb to see results. I personally had better progress when I actually increased my food intake. When we don't eat enough our bodies think there's a famine so our metabolism slows and we lose less weight (because our body thinks there's no food around lol, and keeping hold of body fat gives us a food source)

tmay x Your neck hurts because you don't have the suport do more of the elbow to knee exercises in between suporting your neck with your hands (not pulling on it) I do about 1250 abs per day and that is what helps me =)
