地址證明用 Council tax bill, 其實有時係被逼 個人經驗, 電費單試過要等成一個半月先收到第一期 然後水費單寫既名係 initial, 銀行唔接受, 因為同 passport 唔同 英國好多本地人唔明點解香港人 First name 會有2個字 例如陳大文, 佢地會覺得大係 first name, 文 係middle name, 然後張單寄黎個名變左 Dai Chan... 或者 DM Chan 無咩好方法先要用 council tax bill as proof

So far 買樓過程比較順利,至於同本地人相處,有禮貌,比多啲時間人,降低少少自己標準,多謝人哋,大家都好過D,開心D。不要有錢就唔覺意大聲咗少少。

People are probably confused between “buy to let” and “build to rent” properties. Buy to let is a form of mortgage lending for investors who are buying a property to let out for investment. Whereas there are many Build To Rent schemes in the UK that are sold off plan overseas as 樓花 in places like HK and Dubai. These BTR schemes are specifically targeting investors, the property must be for renting and cannot be brought for self occupation by the investor.

thank you for sharing. I bought a property in UK a year ago but the title hasn't been changed yet. My solicitor updated me they already submitted everything to HM Land Registry that they can't do much further. Apart from waiting, is there any thing I can do to break the deadlock? Is the approval letter from solicitor adequate for address proof?
