Yo bro you're tutorials are a massive help, thank you. I have a china rom Note 7 pro(MIUI 12.5) that I'm trying to put TWRP on because of Xiaomi's beef with Google, but it keeps jumping out of fast boot mode after completing the CMD process instead of booting into TWRP. What am I doing wrong ?

If you upgrade to latest official China rom it installs stock recovery. Check if your bootloader is still unlocked and enter fastboot mode, from there boot into your custom recovery.

Where do you copy the sdk platform tools too? Directly into the phone repository? I saw you have a folder called ADB, is that a folder you made yourself just for organization or for a specific reason?

Hey, i have problem with mi11 ultra, i've installed the room but it got small error at the end "failed to mount '/metadata' (invalid argument) at the end system started and it works but i wanted to wipe to factory settings and seems, i can't wipe, can't change file system, can't even view /sdcard data my windows doesn't see phone files at fastboot mode, i've checked debugging usb, botloader is unblocked. Any solution can you help somehow? I also use pin cuz without it there was decrypt problem but pin helps but yeah can't access the storage files to update room or even wipe it.

However i suggest getting a new phone to play around and other to keep everything in the original without the bootloader unlocked, as you know wiping data from bank then creating new codes from letters are just too tiring

Connect it to computer via recovery mode. If not working you can always start from beginning install official firmware with mi flash and repeat steps.

Depending of your device, for example recovery for mi11 is not fully functional and you can't update ota, older devices can.
