i use s9+ with 128gb of rom with 40gb left of storage and still the same speed and quick after i bought it 3.5 months ago. good battery , graphic, nothing different except you buy a mid range phone / samsung

Xiaomi uses the newest version of gps, first to have L1 and L5. So it has the best gps now in the market. Maybe software can’t detect.

I bought mi a2 instead of a7 and glad I did that.. CPU is par but when it comes to GPU a7 exenos sucks when compared to sd660. Camera is better in mi a2. My cousin and me we were going fo a7 but I don't know why I changed my mind for mi a2. Except of 🔋 battery part I am happy that I didn't buy a7.

Remember you are using the Xiaomi with a Chinese Rom the official global as not been released yet. I know from my Mi5 that once you get the Global Rom things are very different for the better

There's an inconsistency in the GPS test. The Mi had trouble in fixing SATs because it didn't had a Sim card in. The AGPS system utilizes the radio antennas to assist the GPS lock.

didn't expect to buy myself a mi 8....but while having a 16 hrs transfer in Beijing...i train to downtown Beijing and walk around and decided to check out Xiaomi Store...i stand there test and test and test between all kinds of phone xiaomi has in store....the mi max 3 is too weak with 636...the mi mix 2s too expensive for technically the same thing as the mi 8...the mi 8 se is too small...the 6x is good but no amoled and no 845...redmi note 5 is good for the money but IM in China where i can get the Mi 8 for only $400 usd....i can't pass that up lmao...so i went for it....so good! so good! can't complain what i get.

The thing it's that performance aside, of course the 845 it's better than the exynos plus more ram on the xiaomi, the s9 it's the only phone that with mate 10, lg v30 and not much more offers everything from audio jack to sd card support and even hdmi output that it's much much better than cast your phone by wifi.

Wow - testing GPS indoors... what a clever idea! #irony - OK desk is near to window (we see some signal) but - two "almost touching" GPS receivers influence each other (every antenna distorts EM field - and GPS is EM signal). 2. Please, pre-cache applications before tests. Android memory managament is complicated. APP load time highly depend on previous app history. UR complete ignorant! I've compared GPS with my friend who has a S9+... The Mi 8 has Dual GPS, which is more accurate, and faster. The Mi 8 you're using doesn't have the regular starting screen either. The wallpaper is supposed to be different. Same for the S9. You've edited them, so this test isn't really accurate.

The good thing is that it has Dual GPS. The problem is the feature still not yet activated and optimized to work with 2 GPS unfortunately. They been working on it since a long time. It's on beta mode and it will rock ;)

These tests don't really prove anything other than one phone can open a app 2 seconds faster than the other. Gaming comparison is more of a test between two phones because it gets the cpu working etc.

I just bought the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 pro... An awesome phone for the price... but the bugs are irritating as fuck! ... It sometimes beeps for a new whatsapp message sometimes not.. my work app keeps freezing, which means I had to go back to my old phone..I think a lot of problems arise from Xiaomi's battery saving settings, which sucks coz it has a 4000mAh... I'll be selling this Xiaomi, bite the bullet and fork out the xtra for the Samsung 9 plus...

The Mi8 is a great phone but the software though.... there has been issues with the software and also when you have 13 apps open like games or websites. Samsung wins because the game itself leaves it open and Xiaomi has to restart a game.
