This just come up in a notification from Hobbyking. I don’t see retracts mentioned anywhere in their blurb and the images don’t show wheel wells so it looks like they’re selling a fixed-gear version. Pretty neat little plane with lots of tech. I’ll be buying the retract version elsewhere. Great video and not boring in any way! 👍🏻 Edit: Rage RC one has retracts and is a tad bigger. I confused the two of them. I can get this Willtoys one in Australia for $160 and can live without retracts. 👍🏻

For FPV I would prefer a drone as it has an aircraft search dog built in🐕‍🦺. The radius would be too small for me (wifi). Otherwise all XK aircraft could be used for FPV. Larger batteries fit into the A300 and A280, that's the advantage.

Thank you, mostly 80%, when rolling 100%, downhill 0% and additionally elevator negative, that was the first flight without additional nose weight

I am really curious how did you manage to set that up with a hobby grade transmitter with a 4in1 module?! So far I could not set that uo with my radiomaster tx16s

@@markkremnitzky3911 The old FCB version is required (no red socket on the board). The protocol is MT99XX, subtype A180. The FCB must be mounted in the same way as in the A180 (connections facing downwards, antenna towards the rear), otherwise the gyro will run amok.

@@markkremnitzky3911 Oh, sorry, it's about the A300. Like many others, I installed a board from the A280. A280 R, to be precise. Now a board is being sold with the designation A280S. It can also be connected without any problems. The protocol for both versions is V911S, subtype E119.

@@markkremnitzky3911 You can forget about the A300 board, the satellite connections are not active. Direct binding is not possible either. That is why we installed the A280 board. The satellite sockets were activated in the A280 R version. Now a version is being sold on Aliexpress, for example, the A280 S. Can be bound directly (protocol V911S, subtype E119). I have not yet tested whether the satellite sockets are active in this version.

Hi there, i am thinking installing a FPV camera in the plane, Do you think the plane can handle it? The total weight of the FPV suite will be about 60g. thats about a 25% increase in weight. If i want to upgrade the battery to say 1300mah, its an additional 50g, so 46% increase in weight. Would both mods be possible ?

I fly with 1000 mah batteries, my camera weighs 10g, that's a lot of weight, I think 1300 mah + 60g camera is too much, it will fly, the landings will be hard

I got mine today and it sucked the rudder travels on its own on power up and sticks in place I had the same thing with the a-160 the board is screwed up mines in pieces after one 40 second flight. Garbage

I'm sorry, I haven't had any problems with XK aircraft so far. But I fly it with an OpenTX transmitter. I immediately replaced the original PCB from the A300. Wasn't compatible.

@@Retep12 thanks brother I’m going to do that because the plane quality is terrific. It’s the electronics that suck. I had the same issue with an-160 piper cob

Today I was overcharged with camera and 1000 mAh battery. Rolling is not difficult, you just have to have enough height. With less weight, inverted flight will also be possible. I'll try it with a smaller battery soon.
