Another note, has anyone noticed all the hidden crown stashes in the fallen trees and tree stumps? They are everywhere, especially in Skellige. They don't show up with your witcher senses, so you have to stand really close to the hollow of the fallen tree, then the loot button will pop up. It's two different tree stumps so once you know what they look like, they are easy to spot and they are everywhere. Alot of my friends who play never even noticed them.

I'd say that the entire quest in the Cave of Dreams actually takes place in the "small version" of the cave... the way I understand it, the "large version" of the cave and all that happens there are just hallucinations from eating the herbs at the altar... not sure if there's much truth to it, it just makes (at least) some sense to me

That would be why the large cave is separate, if it was just the stuff seen then those would only be enabled during the quest.

After doing the quest "Cave of Dreams" and choosing Cerys' way in "King's gambit" you will be able to talk to Lugos and mention that you helped his son in the cave. Gerlat and Lugos would talk about Lugos Junior as if he was still alive, but he was killed by the beard moments ago.

Jorund is a great character, and it's very interesting that there is a way to save him without Jarl's children getting killed. Though I'm not sure I would have the heart to explore this route in my future playthrough. Sacrificing Cerys & Hjalmar (to be killed) so Svanrige gets the throne and Jorund living seems........too great of a cost for me (similar feeling to leaving Roche, Ves, and Thaler to die in Djikstra's hands, I just can't do that).

To be honest a lot of said choices feel very stretched, especially the Djikstra one. Roche was happy to take Redania side in W2 with certain choices FFS. Thaler is not exactly a guy who would believe in Temeria status under Nilfgaardian rule being anything short of fleeting memory (This guy never had problems hinting that the Foltest's daughter is the red herring behind the culprit's plot, he is rational and cynical). Besides, Djikstra never needed to kill them to get things done, a mere delay (Like slipping mickey in celebratory wine) would make it impossible to salvage the situation to keep things going the Nilfgaard way.

You don’t have to sacrifice them. You literally just have to do the Cave of Dreams quest before you do the Phantom one, and then finish the phantom one AFTER King’s Gambit. That’s what I’ve been doing. I do Cerys and Hjalmar’s quests at the end of my time in Skellige before I’m ready to move on, and I help Blueboy before I go talk to Jorund, so the whole quest for the crown of Skellige isn’t even initiated yet. I’ve done it multiple playthroughs now and without fail, as long as you go find Blueboy on your own before you complete that quest, Jorund won’t die, because Blueboy’s election is no longer on the table, and one of the An Craites gets to rule.

I remember after beating the plague maiden/pesta for this quest, I had another quest to do near by so I thought 'I'll just do this one quest, then I'll finish this one'. However I got sidetracked and didn't end up finishing this quest until after Kings Gambit and Jorund stayed alive. I didn't realise how lucky I was until I saw how this quest was supposed to end on the wiki. Thanks for sharing this Letalis, it's much appreciated. I managed to keep Cerys as Queen too, which was awesome

I heard that if you didn't kill the Leshen near the village, it still lurking there in the woods watching you from a far if you go back, but you have to adjust the camera angle to see it peeping near the trees.

I usually do the lighthouse quest and would not go to speak to Jorund. Next would go to the cave where Lugo's son is preparing for the cave of dreams and do his quest. Then King's gambit quest. Finally I would go to see Jorund as there is nobody to kill him. This way I can do Cery's and Hjalmar's quests.

Just found out a few days ago in my third playthrough that Jorund can die at all lol. I guess I always immediately ran to help Cerys and Hjalmar and did this quest much later. So the imprisonment caught me off guard. Had a good laugh though about the villagers claiming I wouldn't be able to kill all of them.

I just finished the blood and wine quest where Anna Henrietta and Geralt attend Orianna's Party and couldn't help myself but Anna Henrietta's dialogue when you meet her to enter the Party seemed different. So I tried different Outfits and she really has a special dialogue for each of them, even the redanian fine clothing from the hearts of stone dlc. Now I wonder where else CDPR has made such special dialogue regarding your Outfit

Amazing things I have missed here. Thanks mate. I actually saved jorund on my first playthrough by doing his quest first but never claiming the reward immediately. I just went to the site of the cave and talked to blueboi. Then i finished kings gambit right after. Afterwards I went back to jorund to claim my reward and kori and kraki is nowhere to be found. Though the only quest I missed is the prison quest.
