Dude your editing has gotten so much better! I'm so happy that there is a high quality documentary on xooty. Her scores on maps like GID V, Nice for what, Lost Umbrella, Toxicity, Kami no Kotoba, etc are just mindblowing to watch. Not to mention all the scores that you mentioned. Watching her FC lullaby first try live sent shivers down my spine. On top of her awesome resume of scores, she stands out as an iconic player. SFA, unconventional tapping, her signature glove, all of these things make her so entertaining to watch. A player I really want to see a good documentary made for is Mathi. Mathi's story arc of going from being labeled as a sotarks farmer to being the greatest dt tech player of all time is super cool. I'm sure with your great editing and in-depth research, you could make it happen. Keep up the good work!

It's so infuriating to read osu support write stuff like "consider this your 2nd and final chance..", when osu support is at fault while she was actually completely innocent. If anything, they should own up to their mistake and unrestrict her with zero penalties, giving her a clean slate (and perhaps an apology for their poor conduct, since they mesed up and wasted a lot of her time, in addition to the stress and frustration). It's 99% an automated message, but there are times when you should manually write one, cause reading that is disgusting.

I feel like the reason xooty's aim is so smooth is probably because xooty is literally a professional artist. With drawing you are pretty much forced to always know where your cursor is supposed to go, which is why SFA works so well for her.

Great vid Etienne another banger. tho i feel u could have emphasized OWC 2021 a bit more because that first owc 2020 run had a lot of doubters, saying that they only made top 3 from a ridiculously easy bracket, which to be fair out of the teams they faced they beat 1 internationally competitive team in Japan, and a surging Taiwan team that typically overperforms its seed. The only people they brought back from that run that was hated on were the 3 new players, so the 2021 roster had three 1 year owc players and 5 rookies. a lot of people were saying that Canada wouldn't be at finals weekend before the tournament, and they proved all the haters wrong with that UK match to kick out Bubbleman who was having a great tournament so far.

This might sound cringey, but xooty is an inspiration to me as a woman who plays osu. The top players mostly being male is discouraging at times, when I started playing osu I felt like men just had an advantage at this game, and maybe it was pointless to hope that one day I'd be good at it. xooty is why I don't feel like that anymore. I do wonder if someday Etienne will make a video on Shige. I know we have the one by Willy but I feel like there is much more that could be expanded on and I really enjoy Etienne's video formats rather than Willy or BruhmasterL. I also think there would almost be no better fit for a Rhythm Game Anomaly video than Shige but I would understand if he didn't want to do it.
@striving02 жыл бұрын
I mean, what else is there to touch on? Shiges story itself isn’t even that odd lol.
@vp72192 жыл бұрын
@@striving0 Would just like more detailed and an in depth look on Shige similar to his video on Vaxei where he went over a lot of specific scores and events in Vaxei's osu career. Willy's video is good but I feel like a lot of it is just an overview where he's constantly saying how good Shige was instead of showing more clear examples on certain beatmaps/skillsets over the years. After BruhmasterL's video on mrekk I think he should stick to making videos on the history of beatmaps instead, given that the video was of extremely poor quality in terms of research and most of it was him claiming that he told everyone that mrekk was going to be the best. Etienne does very thorough and thoughtful research and I would just like to see his take on a video about Shige.
