There is nothing wrong with a torsion beam if it’s tuned well. Years on RenaultSport Clio and Megane products show nicely how engaging and capable a good torsion beam can be!!

@@madev_channel No, there’re multiple Chinese EV brands did marketing in Thailand, XPENG just launched SUV G6 on 21 August. However, I don’t know they will bring sub-brand like MONA to Thailand or not?

Please remember that it’s irrelevant if the brake caliper is one or four pistons - bigger brakes don’t make you stop faster. The determining factor is tyre choice and weight of the vehicle. Even cheap modern cars have brakes that can take a tyre to the point of its traction limit. What bigger brakes however can do is improve the subjective “feel” of the brakes, and with bigger rotors and thermal capacity they can resist overheating for longer when driving hard.

Xpeng Motors prevents any type of risk, and so do their efficiently used sensors, they cannot take any risk, so they probably do better than others with far more expensive models. The efficiency and the security is very very important for them as they prepare since 2017 flying vehicles with Xpeng AeroHT!

I don’t care about “smart tech” - I want a car not a mobile computer… A decent sounding stereo and radar cruise control are about all I want. I do want a heat pump though…

I live in China for 14 years.... I've watched a lot of these videos and I see many of the cars here...but I'm still not convinced. These companies are all pretty new, and new models and brands pop like smartphone s every month... What about the problems? I'm sure they are some. Cheap Chinese EVs are not known for good steering and handling, and suffer from cabin noise... I'd give em 10 more years 😁 For the same money, you could go for a VW ID.3 (with now updated software). Or a Smart #1. For now, I still drive my Mazda 2, assembled in China 😎

U need to do more research and go test drive. Many of these cars designers are from well known companies. They have also passed ancap safety rating. You can have your worries at the end of the day but I can tell u that those are not an issue. EVs are easier to run than ICE. I wouldn’t go as far as waiting for 10 years. Would you keep your car for 10 years ? Your statement don’t make much sense my friend

And yes it does make sense...I meant, I'll wait 10 more years for Chinese EV brands to better their QC and stop cutting corners...same happened to Japanese and Korean cars... So, in 2024 I'd rather have a KIA EV than an Xpeng but that's just me...

Xpeng Motors does not have any problem, they spare them and solve them with effective technologies. They spare any problem, Xpeng has already 600000 vehicles driving each day on the roads, in more than 20 countries. They do not wait till problems happen to prevent them for all their customers and even for others brands customers! This is the latest Xpeng Motors model, with cleaner but effective ancient technologies, so no risk with the dit of good Audi... Volkswagen tested each if their model on more than 5000 km, and unmounted them and we're impressed positively by the very serious abilities of Xpeng Motors and their fantastic models.... A 10 years old brand doing an X9 better than what BMW Group could do, is a very good and performant brand... And Xpeng is recognized with a AAA certification as the most effective and serious automobile brand in the global world, since 2023!

Just do not sign a contract, test, test, test, and see in 10 years what the 5 automobile brands will be. There will be Bentley and Xpeng Motors for sure and their few partners (Nio, Yangwang probably which is not at all a partner for now but another correct Chinese brand of the BYD Group).

Not at all, much better than Polestar, and a design is linked to usability, you cannot compare round wheels and say this is like a tractor! Of course, you can easily find similarities, but this does not define something taken from others. Only the best (=== strict necessary benefitable to all alive beings) is legal. Do you think Polestar should stool making one of their vehicle and collaborate effectively Ruth Xpeng Motors to make a better product together? This may be good for both...
