@@shaquilleoatmeal2685 Yeah absolutely, I do that too even after 5 months of playing chess daily, but now I try to think how the opponent could refute my calculations. It's just very hard to see the defense when you're so happy you found a great combo.

@@zHqqrdz yes it's very tempting indeed. I had the fortune of playing my grandpa at a young age and got destroyed. After, he told me that I needed to force my opponent to do what I wanted instead of hoping. After that, chess became much more of a calculating and strategic game for me.

6:35 he takes the pawn on b6 with his bishop and if his opponent is dumb, he’ll take back with the c7 pawn and then he moves his knight to d6 creating a fork. if his opponent didn’t take back with the c7 pawn, he could take it with his knight since the bishop is on a6 protecting the knight. he would then also be threatening to take the rook on e8. idk how he didn’t see this. (would this work though?)

Sorry a bit late but if the pawn takes b6 bishop there is no fork because the black bishop can take knight if the knight moves to d6, so its a very risky move

Probably castling around move 4 or 5 is a better attempt for white, but if you mean after the queens are traded with 7.Kxe2, white loses castling rights as the king has moved once already.
