We helped our friends over at osbornholsters.... install their rear XRC Corner Guards to their JKU and wanted to share our experience with the install.

Some helpful tips:
1) Apply Painters tape a long the edges of your Jeep where the fenders will mount. This prevents your paint from being scratched when placing the fenders on and off. After trial and error, 2-3 layers of painters tape is best!
2) Marking holes is next and it is time consuming! You need to have C Clamps or bar clamps handy to hold the fender in place while you mark a few (key) holes. Re mount the fender and make sure your aligned with what you just marked. Repeat until all holes are marked and your confident your ready to drill into the body.
FYI: The rear most inside hole is a pain to access. It is very close to the weld point and does not have enough clearance to mark or fit a bolt. We had to cut 5 threads off of the bolt to fit on both sides. Patience is needed for this step.
FYI: The back driver side is more time consuming due to the license plate which you have to align holes and drill out a center hole large enough for the license plate light plug to fit thru as well as holes for the license plate mount screws to pass thru. If you get these placements wrong, you will add significant time modifying the holes to fit. No worries though if you are not perfect, the license plate mount itself does hide any mistakes in alignment. The only thing your costing yourself is time. Please note: seal up all holes you drill, with some form of paint so that rust does not become an issue!
FYI: BUY A NUTSERT ($40 on amazon and made by Smittybilt) do not use what is provided! It will add hours to the job.
FYI: 2-3 people required because the fenders are heavy. Minimum 10 hour install if you have helping hands. If you have more confidence in your hole drilling, you may accomplish the install quicker.
FYI: Inner fenders that come with the xrc are not a perfect fit. We have a red JKU and some of the red does show.
