I appreciate everyones patience on this bike and all other customs that had to be put to the side for a while. A lot of life has happened and therefore changes as well. The last many months has been a focus on getting the shop set up and now its time to build! Look for that video on the solenoid and reg/rec soon!

Years ago back in the 80s, I worked for a Firm that did Pressure Die casting. They too had this NEW Fangled machine called a 'Vapour Blaster' - Worked on the exact same Principle as your machine, High Pressure water using 'Fine Glass Beads' as a Medium. It cleaned up those Die Moulds. Then I came along and spotted a whole new use for that machine. You name it, I cleaned it...lol - Rusty old Spanners, Cylinder heads etc etc. Everything came out like NEW! I loved that machine. If it fit through the hatch and I could lift it up, I blasted it!! 🙂 Then one day a Boss man came along. "How you doing? do you like it here? Oh yes! I replied. Next thing you know Im shifted back up the road to our other factory and that was the end of me Vapour Blasting foreigners. 😞

Oh my goodness. A guy on fb MP just 50 miles away (from me here in NH) put his 1998 Bandit on sale this afternoon for $1400.00. Looks brand new. Shows the odometer 2000 miles. I just could not believe it. Way way too big a bike for me but there it is. I wanted to message the guy. I just stared at the nearly new bike for a while and clicked away. I am trying to recover from the thought of what I saw. I could go buy the bike but that would be major trouble for me. Whoosh. I just don't know what to say. Anyway thank you for your video and showing your skills there. Always am recommending you to everyone I run into. All good. Always a Master Class!

I made my own vapour blaster from an old sand blasting cabinet. Works great and will easily remove paint from engine cases but I use a more course sand than what you have in yours.
@BrickHouseBuildsАй бұрын
Yeah it was tempting to make my own but not enough time to take on that project. I like the fine media for carb work and such
@togwilsonАй бұрын
@ yeah mine can be a bit too abrasive for finer detail work like carbs. Also I struggle with a lot of mist build up with mine. Maybe I need a ventilation fan. Definitely worth the wiper upgrade though. Made a massive difference

I’m sure you’re doing your nozzle research already. In case you didn’t come across it, Matt from HTMR channel on YT is making a nozzle that supposedly works better and faster with lower cfm compressor. Tacoma also makes good nozzles for vapor blasting

This is the lower cfm nozzle from VHT actually. It's for 5cfm

My 2 remaining projects is a 78 KZ1000A and 85 750 turbo. Always on the hunt for parts! My 71 CB350 twin needs sprockets and chain, brake shoes, and clutch plates and springs. I would gladly buy your parts if you have things I need for these bikes.
@BrickHouseBuilds10 ай бұрын
