Man, you're a pro. I love this gameplay. I love how you swiftly dodged all the Man Eaters and how you could dodge all the yellow bullets of the Sol Dae Rokker when in rage mode. Also yay for using Fio in this video!

+Alan Bareiro Nah, I'm far from being a pro. This run took several retries, and I'd go insane if I had to use this path in a true one life run of the entire game (this is a standalone video). The Man Eaters are easy to dodge once you get their timing right. They're easy to bait into attacking, and thus easy to dodge. Of course, if you get a bunch of them at once trying to eat you that can be a problem, which is why I personally try to avoid those situations as you might be able to tell. I actually dislike using Marco and Fio since most people who do KZbin videos use those two, so I like to show off the other characters and their animations as well (even though Tarma is just a cheap palette swap of Marco, but hey). It's just that, I thought this channel could use some variety as well, so I went with Fio this mission. Also, Sol Dae Rokker I believe is a boss that is largely dependent on luck, not skill. This is actually my least favourite boss in the entire series, even when taking 7, XX, AND Advance into account. You have to basically hope that a) he doesn't use his yellow attack at all, or b) he doesn't use his yellow attack in the middle especially when angry c) even if he uses his yellow attack off center that you don't get caught in a bad situation and die, since the projectiles actually travel a bit further after being obscured by the platform before truly being neutralised d) the ghost wolves attack don't leave you in the middle of the platform when he decides to use the yellow attack e) none of his attacks force you to pick up a power gun dropped by the hostages f) he doesn't enter rage mode halfway into an attack, especially the red arrow ones which are completely dependent on rhythm to dodge, so imagine the rhythm of the attack changing with absolutely zero warning whatsoever Yeah, fuck this boss. I'm complaining a lot, I know, but this goes to show just how "not pro" I am at this game.

XSquare StickIt Don't bring yourself down, pal! You actually manage to not die at this game. And at level EIGHT. That is a feat on its own! :) But if we are at bashing Sol de Roca, then yeah I agree with you. What a load of bull that boss is! I'm not the pro MS3 player and I still die at level 8 and I keep practicing, but I got as far as not dying at the first section of Mission 4, yeah with all the soldiers, trucks, Girida-Os and Eaca-B planes. But Sol de Roca? Screw that. That game transforms into Touhou with that. Go to the left, get hit by a stray yellow bullet, you die. Go to the right, you die. Go to the center, the bullet block you, you die. You jump to avoid a bullet then another one comes at light speed, you die. And let's not say how much RNGJesus hates me on that one. There was one instance were I fought this boss and the bastard threw me FOUR yellow attacks when angry and I dodge them all by sheer luck, until he decided to throw one more yellow attack and dick finally killed me. I don't think they didn't even playtest this boss at level 8.

Not to mention that I don't really like to use the Flame Shot on him. Normally, it does even more damage than a Shotgun or Super Grenade! Granted you let the fireball arc horizontally all the way while covering the whole hitbox. But this boss has a little weakspot and on the very top. Aiming your Flame Shot vertically all the way up makes it travel in a straight line and way faster, making it stay much less time and thus dealing less damage. I like to have either the Shotgun (the best weapon against this boss by far) or the Laser Gun (in which tapping the shoot button every second does more damage than just simply tapping it continually).

+Evan Magolor As of right now I've no way to play either of those games while recording it, so really, I don't know. I know emulators for the DS and PSP exist, but my computer is too shitty to handle them, let alone in conjunction with a recording program. Long answer short, I don't think I'll ever be able to do MS7/XX. Not until I get a better machine, anyway, which won't come anytime soon.

Es nivel 8. Los helicópteros disparan más rapido, los tanques resisten más y las plantas carnívoras aguantan más cuchillazos. Sol Dae Rokker ataca más rápido y lanza más lobos a la vez.
