@@KepleroGT but tunes aren’t actually to be copied, you should make them urselve to suit ur driving style. (I also copy tunes don’t worry lol)

@@KepleroGT AMS_Brock easily got the World Record at the time with this setup so I guess it's pretty fast. You just have to get used to these setups to be very quick. It might feel strange now but it won't with some practice and you'll be much faster with it than using a slower setup that you were used to before.

Interestingly, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from watching this channel is that it’s not necessarily about winning. Yeah, first place is always awesome, but you can feel good about a well fought race and simply beating racers who you consider skilled, no matter where in the field the battle is happening. Even needing to learn this at all might sound ridiculous, but, keep in mind, I grew up in the “before times” when online racing wasn’t really a thing. So I played GT1 & GT2 and kind of got it in my head that I was all that and a bag of chips (crisps?). Of course I won all the time because that’s how the AI was designed, yeah? My first big experience with online racing was iRacing…and it was a shock, just how bad I was. At that stage in life I didn’t really have folks around me to help put my losing into any sort of context. I had put myself under the impression I was the best racer in the world (probably) so not placing first consistently was a bitter pill to swallow. The funny thing, looking back, is that when I was pushing myself as hard as possible I was usually in the top split and was placing mid field. At the time I thought this was a disaster! But watching this channel has taught me that it’s perfectly fine to be midfield in the top split, more than fine actually. In fact it’s perfectly fine to be midfield in any split provided you’re racing hard and enjoying yourself. It’s always amazed me how much you are able to enjoy yourself midfield. At first I thought you must be an odd duck, but I’ve learned that really I’m the one who has the bad attitude. It makes me feel like I should consider picking up online racing again and, you know, be happy when I race to the best of my abilities and, hopefully, beat a few folks that I respect ;).

I took the Mazda RX500. Overall, it was faster than the Fords on the straights, and more fuel efficient. Took 6th for 259 points after a bad quali and starting 13th.

@@marcosneto9412 graphics basically the same if you’re not spending 500 on a ps5. Yea there’s weather, but the track list is almost the same with a handful of new tracks. As someone who doesn’t see value in racing AI, I will be interested to see if they can improve the online racing a bit , but doesn’t look much different from a capacity standpoint. The penalty system has been a constant pain and doubt they ever get it fully right. Will the driving change much? Doubt it as they’re not overhauling their physics engine. Tracks and graphics are about the same. So not really much difference. A 6 minute daily online race won’t have time for dynamic weather to matter much. Yes I’ve pre ordered it and hope it is more than a marginal improvement

Very important to gauge your torque to horsepower ratio. Torque taking precedence of course. Lay of the red line as much as u can feasibly do so. In this case 5000-6000 rpm line with the exception of 4th and 5th gear.

Never realized how much of an advantage the GT40 had in this particular race 'til I saw this video. No wonder everyone kept on using the GT40 hahaha! I used the NSX but had no match against the pack of GT40s at the straights even though I was able to catch up a little bit on the turns.

@@trentboyd5919 well my thinking atleast for the short term, people are going to be merging over to gt7 over the period of a few months (that's dependent if its a good game of course which it's looking like it will be which is great!) but it's rare alot of people stay on previous games unless the current game is subject to removing things or just being problematic (project cars 3 and 2 is a good example) but it looks like gt7 is going to be more expansive, I do think this will keep a base of sorts, just it will minimize for a while :)

I ran out of fuel thrice on this race ;-; used the Fugu Z in the first two since I didn't want to use the GT40, but in the end I gave up and used it. I noticed that it had better fuel usage (bigger fuel tank I guess?) so I went for it, but yea, ran out of fuel and went from 4th to 12th on the last lap. That sucked!

I use 10 and 10 for the in game settings then I would use about 50% force feedback on the wheel. Rotation 360.

1. Less time spent at low fuel (car is heavier for more of the race) 2. Less time spent in slipstream (slower laptimes and less fuel saved).

that Ford doesn't even wake up until it reaches 5000 RPMs, the rev limiter kicks in at 8000 to really know that car, you've got to watch Ford vs. Ferrari
