@xnonsuchx Exactly! The Rag and Bone Buffet stuff, Wonder Annual, Bumpercars, Ship Trapped In Ice, End of the Pier, Sonic Boom and on and on...... Most bands would KILL for songs like these!

I never listened to this demo before, In recollection anyway. It's quite a song, I like how the band has a rather gentle touch to some of their music compared to some other bands and yet is firm in lyrics without stumbling. It's refreshing to not feel as if I'm being torpedoed or shot at musically.

I agree, what a pity this wasn't fleshed out into a full XTC track. Oh well. Still, listening to Andy Partridge's Fuzzy Warbles series, you realise the embarrassment of riches that never saw the light of day.......
