Hard to scratch Lehtonen with the numbers he puts up, I’d say give him the ice time and use Hutchings whenever an injury occures. Another option would be letting them split time for a while until you find out who you like better, just could be kind of annoying editing the lines so much to switch em.

I think you keep Hunter Lightning long term. Goalies develop later than players, be patient, I think he will keep getting better. He seems to get better every year

the problem as stated in the last video is the game just does work out with high elite goalies. Eventually when he wants to move him his trade value will just tank and he'll get no more than a seventh for the guy. Best to go with is bridge deals for goaltenders

Just a draft suggestion. You should never be drafting someone that is confirmed scouted top 9 forward... more worth while taking a stab at someone unknown. You can sign any top 9 caliber player/prospect from free agency.

Lehtonen and Hutchings are a -1 together yet play under 12 min a night and fill their roles to perfection, they could be a sick PK line and should be playing more. I don't like Ottosen yet and line 2 fill's in fine.

Maybe try to use the find trade for that stud defenseman Deandre to just see what they would be asking for, and if we aren’t happy with Ottoson in two years at 26 Deandres potential may drop and make him easier to trade for

Super late getting to this video but loving the series. One thing that sucks is goalies. In my franchise i signed carter hart as an rfa, gave up 2 picks for him and he was trash, benched him for 80 overall bednar and made the playoffs at the end of the year. Goalies are money trap.

You should take a look at Ryan Johansen (88 overall) for the bottom 6 if he is still available in free agency, he only wants around $4.5 million for one year. Worst case scenario, you could flip him for picks.

It’s not Mikko Lethonen who is the problem with Hutchins, the problem is Hutchins doesn’t fit AT ALL on the third pairing and doesn’t fit well on the second pairing. The only pairing were he really fits is on the first line, which I don’t think is an option because you already have people who fit on the first line who are higher overall

Trade Lehtonen to a team needing def help. I think he still has 2nd line potential, just not on your depth chart. Maybe look to get a young prospect in return. Also, this team has really shaped up this year and is the best it has looked so far in this series imo

You didn’t show us the goalie overalls. Would like to see if Hunter Lightning went up or down. Also, I think Hutchings and Lehtonen could switch for the next couple of months and then whoever does better stays in the lineup. Then if Hutchings does better, trade Lehtonen but if Lehtonen does better, send Hutchings down to the minors for one more year and trade Lehtonen next year.
