Lol I had an issue on my f30 with the TMap sensor. Added a Racechip, that sensor clip was a PIA lol :). Great video this might be my next project.

Tune it!!! I tuned my F36 B48 with bootmod3. Its stage 2. It gave my car 70 HP and i have all your mods except the intake.

Oh btw, I got a 328i. I went right to stage 1 on stock and I’m going to get charge pipe doenpipe and intake soon then stage 2. You should get bootmod3 and go straight to stage 2 and you will be gapping people left and right

It all depends on engine. But for a 428i you probably have either an n20 or n26. So yes this pipe should fit for you

Do the two parts of the charge pipes have to be touching inside the rubber coupling? Was there any difference in sound after installation?

Not the two parts inside the coupling don’t have to be touching. And no the chargepipe is more of a preventative mod you won’t notice any sound or performance gains

Was doing the same install: vsrf charge-pipe on n20 motor. All is good in the install, except my O Ring from the factory chargepipe on the throttle connection side doesnt seem to fit so well into the vsrf one. Any comments or shared info about your experience here would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance!

Do you also plan on replacing the inlet pipe to the inner cooler? I know cost is a factor, but is it smart to definitely replace both?

Why do we need that? I run my 320i n20 with Stage2 inc downpipe and upgrade fmic. I dont have that charge pipe or intake

It’s just for reassurance that your stock one isn’t gonna blow off during a pull. With higher boost pressures you’ll need one.

Yeah, maybe I could buy an m4 with the amount of money I spend on the 428i. But I’ve loved this car since the day I saw it, so it’s just kind of special to me. I’m not too concerned about the speed. I love my car and probably will never get rid of it even if I do get an M in the future

Hey man I did all the same mods you have but my car has a check engine light and is reading it’s running too rich and lean. Was this ever an issue you ran into

If you put a catless downpipe you’re gonna get a check engine light. Did you get a tune?

@@Metoy3r I didn’t do a down pipe yet, just did the intercooler, inlet intake, injen intake, same Exhuast you have, charge pipe, boost pipe, and bms stage 1 tune. Ran perfect than randomly got a drive train malfunction, then I scanned it and I got 3 codes all related to running lean/rich

Hmm I haven’t ran into any issues like that before. But then again I don’t have a intercooler or boost pipe. I will look more into it for you and let you know if i find anything.

@@Metoy3r I appreciate it man, love the channel it’s at the mechanic right now he changed the valve cover gasket because when I changed the spark plugs I saw oil on the threads. Hopefully that takes care of the drivetrain malfunction. I hope that I just didn’t connect things 100% tight and it’s just an air leak but if too much air is going in idk what the solution would be get a new tune or something
