Love your team. I'm currently playing FireRed and my team is Blastoise, Butterfree, Dragonair, Pikachu, Flareon, and Nidoking. Flareon has the second highest phys attack in this game so I gave her shadowball for coverage. Surprisingly, butterfree is good, due to its ability compound eyes, which makes it near impossible to miss with sleep powder lol. Snorlax with shadowball on your team is so good and a great counter for Blue's Alakazam.

I think Exeggutor has an ability (forgot what it's called) that when its sunny out, his speed is increased; and Sunny Day was still active.

I assume you're a newer player that doesn't really know about stats. Levels don't matter, only the speed stat determines if another mon gets outsped.
