Y-Cam Evo WiFi Security Cam: Unboxing!

Hey guys, today we are looking at the Y-Cam Evo, a wifi enabled smart security camera. In this unboxing I show what is included in the box and some of the features of the camera.

I got this today, the zone setup is a bit weird. You would think you need to setup the box so that any motion within the box is detected, but this isn't how it works. The motion detection is literally on the borders only. Mine randomly goes offline for 30 minutes or more at a time. The motion detection sends you an alert instantly, but you can't see the video until motion is stopped, or when someone has broken in, and left. The camera is in the same room as my wireless access point and at the same time, my other two cameras were operating fine.

I tested mine a few days ago and it took 7 minutes before I had notification of movement. Well, a blind man with wooden leg and crutch could take and be on his toes and halfway down the street in that time. CRAP!!!

Beware, they are now making you pay for storage which was advertised Free, (And in some places, is still being advertised as free!). If you bought from Amazon in the last year, you can contact Amazon for a full refund.

No longer free Cloud recording.. just a bait and switch if you ask me. Bought three of these cameras only because they offered free week long video cloud service AND NOW THEY TURN AROUND AND SAY "FREE NO MORE, please pay up". Complete ripoff.
