that's why Addis Ababa needs to be governed by people who were born and raised in Addis.

Dr. Abiy you are amazing. God bless you! I hope soon you will start finding out this irresponsible leaders and replacing them with a new responsible n capable leaders.
Dear Prime Minister, ALL reviewed and directed issues are crucial and I thank you for your concern. Are they(4 person) capable to execute the assignment that raised and directed by PM?
Not only in Addis but everywhere in Ethiopia, students should learn three languages; in Afar: English + Afar + Amharic; In Somali region: English + Somali + Amharic; In Guage: English + Gurage + Amharic; in Tigre: English+ Tigre + Amharic, and so on. Simply the local language + English + Amharic should be the way to go.

I strongly agree. If you want your child to speak your native tongue teach em at home or relocate to your ethnic zone. Amharic is the national language and is essential for ALL Ethiopians to communicate. English lets us stay connected globally

Please all Ethiopians give our progressive prim minister a chance. He is fighting in side and out side . If we can help our people that is very good ; if not at least let’s help him by giving positive input . Every time some of theses greedy persons on power trying to sabotage his efforts, let’s not complain.Because that’s how it’s been done . Individual on power in Ethiopia have been corrupted. It take a long time to break this practice. He is only one person he needs many like him who are willing to change and work for the people.

@@imainithabiti6980 Do you follow the news at all? He is, again and again, sabotaging himself it is he who is creating chaos in the country. He betrayed the people who voted for him and loved him; he is a conman!
Amazing!!! We can easily see how much the PM is informed and has a clear picture of what is happening in the city. It should be noted that Addis Ababa is the nerve center of Ethiopia, the region and Africa including international organizations. Good governance of Addis would speed up Ethiopian development in all sectors, but bad governance would yield the opposite. I ,as a citizen, am happy because I can see that the PM is well informed and knows what is happening in Addis. This is critically important to take informed decision and give guidance to those who are ready to learn and act accordingly.
