英國奇怪的Airbnb, 在這裡睡覺很不安?

I think GG and Torres are just used to the gated homes in HK and South Africa, because townhomes like that with gates that allows the mailman to come in to the porch to deliver mail is pretty common in USA/Canada, UK.

我上次2019年1月去大阪旅行，首次使用Airbnb服務，圖片上几近完美的內飾，比酒店更素雅精緻，但是看到實景就崩潰，兩人在走廊過道相遇，要側身才能過，想開窗只能爬上床方可，比相片中面積小很多，但價錢只比酒店便宜一些。還要網上傳送passport資料到中介管理中心，手續煩複，還要驗證身份的真偽！如果再去旅行，我一定不再使用Airbnb服務，收錢好快，但遇到問題，就沒有人站出來負責任。Georgia & Torres 反映Airbnb的問題所在，一針見血！

你可以在 review 裡指出他們的 Ad 內容和實際不符. 雖然只是覺得 地方小 和 開窗不方便 這些大概不會退錢給你, 但可以幫助避免他人中伏. Btw, 如果是一些實質上的不符, 例如他們有勾選洗衣機而事實上沒有, AirBnB 是會經申訴中心退一部份錢給你的. 上傳 passport 是英國法例 (也許其他國家也有也說不定) 要求, 不止 AirBnB, 所有英國的租屋公司都應該需要你這樣做才對.

​@@chnet968 我已經將室內不符合廣告相片拍照下來，後來才發現，Airbnb的留言板上不能上傳相片，只能留言批評。我已經公正指出這家旅館的「貨不對辦」問題。 錢已經付出，無良商人絕不會退還給你，大家都是成年人，都明白，什麼「貨不對辦，全數奉還」，只是哄騙無知小孩的。 我直接訂大阪酒店是不需要上傳Passport，也不需要網上認證，只需入住時出示Passport。主要是Airbnb的價格並不便宜，但房子設施沒有酒店好。

@@yaudamien6861 AirBnB 只是租屋中介, 自然不可能在你入住時才問你拿證件啊. 他們從來沒有「貨不對辦，全數奉還」的保證, 因為他們也沒派人到每一家參與的房屋做評估. 也因此會有所謂「假的 BnB」, 也就是租了然後去到後真正的屋主才告訴你那房子從來沒作為 BnB 出租的情況. Btw, 在這情況下他們退款有夠快的, 打電話去申訴一小時候退款就批下來了, 那時間是凌晨二時, 而且他們也付了我等候期間買的熱咖啡的錢. 不過這也有可能是我已經用了他們多次服務而每一次屋主的評價都是良好的原故 (每次租屋後租屋者和屋主會互相評價, 你需要評價了對方才可看對方評價你的內容. 不論有沒有做評價, 對房屋的評價將會在14天後公開在 那房屋的 Ad 上看到, 而14天後其他你打算租屋的屋主也可以看到你作為租客的評價.)

I'd recommend leaving the living rooms lights on regardless if you're home or not so people will think there's some home. and if you're not home have some loud music playing in the background, loud enough where if someone walks near the door they can hear it outside. So these thieves will think someone is home. And another Great Video. Wish it was 1 hr long. LOL

Next time when u travel to UK during summer time book an hotel or airbnb make sure ask if they can offer u a fan, my husband stayed in London for a month for work due to budget he chose an airbnb as well and it’s really hot and turn out he needs to stay in a proper small hotel with air con 😢

Your worries is understandable, but I think the UK is very safe. I have been living here for several years and live in similar conditions as a single person but never came across any danger thing. UK people are very nice and helpful. And it is a very safe place. sometimes I went back home like midnight and just being myself, and I have never came across any danger. Yeah it is very safe and it is no wander why they built the house like that, with not too many safe considerations as the Asian countries do, I guess…

1. I don't know about South Africa or China/HK, but I do know million and million of home in suburban 90%+ is my guess (outside of downtown area) from N. America (US/Canada), Western Europe (Italy/Germany/France), Aus/N.Zealand all have home that have window that open up with no security metal bar, outside gate that have no lock! I really don't have a clue what you 2 are worry about! btw, that's a bus stop, it is all along most major road, it is not a bus terminal!! where do you expect people to get on and off bus in a large city!! 2. The way you climb in that window, you could easily hurt yourself or damage that window if it crack under your weight! that is just stupid! 3. If your data in that hd is so important, why not upload it to a cloud account in additional! a hard copy and a cloud copy is the most secure! BTW, I think this video is the worst you 2 make in yrs!! imo
