My step dad literally built a tank like this for fun in the 90's, but out of welded metal, and the gun was a 4 ft long, 2" potato cannon. We had so much fun with it, but he ended up selling it to somebody for a dune buggy that he turned into a mad max style war buggy. He was always making crazy things.

That is quite small yet awesome for a modern-day tankette. The shotgun barrel could easily accommodate a 10 bore or even a black-powder punt gun too so it literally would blast cannonballs! LOL. The flamethrower could easily be upsized too. Just layer the plywood with thin metal sheets and it would be composite armored too. You could make and sell these and make a fortune to other eccentric landowners.
