The teleport skill has some limitations. In addition to the level requirement you need sand from the dragon hourglass, which might of been hard to Naofumi to get before now. Also you can only teleport to places you've been to and logged, and you can only save thee locations at a time. The other limits are the one hour cool down and it can only move six people at a time. Still this is how they were able to move around so fast when chasing Naofumi and how Ren and Itsuki returned to the capital when they started looking into things.

It's a double edged sword though. When you quick travel you miss everything on the route, including reagents, kills, loot drops and xp (although xp was more an issue for Naofumi since he was level capped for so long). I suspect half of Naofumi's power comes from stacking bonuses from masteries gained from monster types the other 3 never encountered, and maybe some reputation, world travel, exploration and profession benefits. Compare WoW players: the guy with maxed professions and reps grinding dailies is gonna be better than a casual or the guy who hit level cap through the cash shop.

@@mandragoradravgis Naofumi was never leveled capped, his ability to gain EXP was diminished until he bought Raphtalia. Now Raphtalia and Filo on the other hand did get stuck by the level cap of 40, but since heroes don't have one Naofumi kept going. This was the only reason his level got past them, as they gain EXP faster then he does. The other three were also playing off their experiences from when this was a game to them, so they knew where the best loot and grinding areas were. However if there was anything not in their version of the game then they likely missed it. At this point in the light novel Ren noted there were weapons he had never seen before.

the difference between naofumi and the others is like the difference between someone who is hired straight out of college and someone who worked their way up. the other heroes were taught the system and so have a better understanding of what they're capable of but are over-reliant on what they know. naofumi on the other hand has had to figure everything out through experience and so while he doesn't necessarily know every detail of the system and what it can do, he is in a better position because he's more efficient.

And another key reason why Naofumi is the real deal while the other three heroes are stooges is because of their character. Naofumi listens to the people's plead, is passionate about his learnings and experiences around that world, and genuinely wants to save people (even though he doesn't admit it because of that stupid frame-up). While the other three are arrogant and snob who thinks they know everything (Bow), doesn't value the life of others (Sword), and the worse of all is being a creep and having unnecessary hero complex (Spear). Their character will always come into play no matter how many advantages have they got from the system. Man, I want to have Naofumi's moral compass and character when my life turns into living hell like he experienced.

remember each person is thinking of the world like a game they know of from there real world. The Shield Hero on the other hand was thinking of the world they are in as a real world with some game work. But it was not till he started opening his eye and way of thinking to there way is when he find out that it can be one way or all ways. So he now have info for the other to use if only they will stop and hear him out on what he have to say. For if they can all think just like him with what the other have say on how to build up. they will be even stronger then him at there levels. But here a little side note i think the anime do not say (well in this season) You can do more then what others have say you can do. Like at the start when they first learn about there weapons and how the EXP work. It was that small info the king give them on you can not work with each other in a small area or you will get no EXP and that your powers will go down. If they did not get told that info at the start. Then what do you think mite have happen then? i will leave that for you and others to think on that.

The other three heroes now know Naofumi was framed, but they are still playing out their power fantasies. They outright believe they are immortal because the "story" is set up that way. The crafting system and item drops comes from them thinking of this as a video game. The weapon copy was by chance. Each of them played a video game that was effectively a clone of the world they are currently in so they employ the power up methods that were in those games. However each of the game has a different power up method for their weapons, which they can all use but refused to believe in. Ren had a way of cannibalizing proficiency from other weapons, using it to power up a certain weapon. Moytasu had something that requires ore and has a risk of failure. I think Itsuki had something that used monster parts, it's been a while since I read it. Naufmi collects shields that give a +1 ATK, maxing them out to make their effects passive. He also told them about the slave user and monster user shields to explain why Raphtalia and Filo are so strong, since their stats were much higher then what their levels should allow. While he didn't believe them right away, Naofumi took chance and believed in the weapon copy, since they all agreed it was real. From there he used their power up methods. Also he found his inventory and it was full of all kinds of things from weapons, to materials, to vendor trash, and even Raphtalia's hair. He gets a drop every time he feeds his shield a piece of a monster, but he didn't know about it so they've just been collecting in there. Also side note, the new power ups added a lot of text to the shield descriptions. It got a little annoying in the light novel.

I love how they've been foreshadowing the belief system since episode 1. The weapons make it so that you can only use the powers if you believe they exist. Episode 1, Naofumi didn't notice the status icon until Trash said it existed and Ren confirmed it. Then, when he saw Motoyasu use a combo skill (thereby believing in their existence) a message popped up saying, "Here's a combo skill you can use." And now we're going to see him use copy as well as all three improvement methods that the others have been using. Also, in the LN Naofumi let those three have it in the Council Room when they accused him of cheating. They mentioned how overpowered the Iron Maiden and Blood Sacrifice moves are and he had to explain how circumstantial the moves are. Iron Maiden takes three steps to perform and uses all of his SP. He needs to use Shield Prison, then Change Shield to switch to the Needle Shield (which he got from bee monsters) so that he can pin the enemy inside the Shield Prison. Then he can finally cast Iron Maiden which has an entire cinematic shot that goes with it. That gives an enemy so much time to break out of it, and if it doesn't work then he's out of options and needs potions to fill back up (which leaves him preoccupied while an enemy can attack either him or his party). And Blood Sacrifice is essentially a final trump card forbidden move. It takes up all his SP, MP, and virtually all his HP to cast the move. And when it's done he's cursed so that all of his stats (except DEF) are reduced by 30%. And to top it all off, the curse takes so much time and treatment to heal. His second reason for going to Cal Mira is to use the restorative hot springs to cure himself.

I know what you mean and I agree, they are the type who only got the title hero on technicality of being thrust into a role of responsibility and respect. BUT they don't live up to their responsibilities because they keep treating it all like it's a game. They don't see how their actions have consequences or think for themselves critically about the situations that surround them. Worse, they keep having this "I am the true hero out of you guys" mentality. Where each and every one of them believe they are right and everyone else is wrong. Not realizing they are all equally important to save the world and need to work TOGETHER to save the world and everyone on it.

Since they're stuck at the Videogame mentality, the World's system won't unlock the other Strengthening Methods to the other Heroes. With Naofumi now using all 4 Strengthening Methods, he essentially grew 3 times more powerful than before!

Each hero has they'er own leveling mechanics based off of how they think it should go. Shield = feed fodder until something unlocks, Spear = fine tune the weapon and unlock levels, Bow = rarity, Sword = weapon levels by being used. Once one tells the other what system they have it unlocks now that they know it is a possibility. Now you can use all four methods to level up one weapon. I bet if you believe you should have an "Inventory" everything you own would be stored in a pocket dimension.

it's not that Naofumi wasn't paying attention, it's because every hero has his own way of growing, yet when they share info and trust each other they get all of the info of the other heroes... that's why Naofumi unlocked the weapon copy system when he says "i guess i'll trust them", basically the other heroes can also copy each other's systems if they trust each other, but they are so dense that instead of working together they start fighting on which way is the best

So its not really brought up in the anime but is brought up in the LN a bit, the reason they each had a different way to have "strong weapons" was because their respective weapons used whatever system was most familiar to them from games in their own reality. When naofumi is able to "unlock" them on his own weapon, its basically because he became aware of the systems and since his head isn't up his own ass he expanded his weapons abilities to include all 3 of the other hero's unique weapon mechanics from their worlds.

Hey guys, love your vids!!! I read the online novels and am a huge fan of the series. Apparently each hero was playing a game when they got summoned (as opposed to Naofumi who read a book). They each believed the world worked with the mechanics of the game they played (e.i. Weapon rarity, absorption of enemy drops, etc.), and that’s why they couldn’t agree. They have a “help” tab on their screen, but each hero only has what they believe to be true and therefore all of them have something different. Naofumi finds out that as long as you believe it to be possible, you can unlock all the power up ways each hero has. But the rest of the heroes are too stubborn to think they are doing something wrong. They don’t put this in the show because they changed the characters slightly differently in the anime to not make them complete... idiots. Ten and Itsuki are at least reasonable in the show while they were honestly just....snobby in the source material and only sided w/ Naofumi because Motoyasu’s actions were kinda too much on the stupid side.

A 50% increase in any one stat from a class up is considered good. Normally it's about a 20% increase. Filo wanted to pick a class that would let her spit poison, just because she thought it was cool. It might be for the best she didn't get to chose her class herself. Speaking of poison, they made B*tch taste test that pie in the light novel. She got to it before Naofumi showed up so the guards made her try it. They then took her away to get her healed. Honestly it was a pointless scheme. The queen didn't think the poison would do anything to Naofumi but piss him off. A number of his shields have poison resistance. I also recall in the manga the guy in the armor also mocked B*tch when he had the chance, but they both didn't like Raphtalia.

For political reasons they can't gift her to Siltvelt or execute her. Having her serve under one of the heroes is one thing and in fact gives her a certain amount of protection as they are held in such high regard. If she didn't have a hero to cling to she would have other 'responsibilities' she would attend to. Funny you should say tiger man though. Siltvelt doesn't have princes persay, their political structure is a bit more complicated then that, but they do have four great families, one of which are white tigers. Still I don't think their oldest living male would be into her.

While it would troll them both, the issue is in order to avoid war the Queen already made certain promises to another kingdom that B*tch will have to honor, weather she wants to or not, unless she is working for a hero. Both Siltvelt and Shieldfreedon are mad at Melromarc right now and she can't give her to both of them. In the early volumes or the light novel they had extra chapters that was from another character's POV. In Melty's we got to see some of the Queen's talks with the leaders of the other countries. Keep in mind at that point Trash had pissed off pretty much everyone and she had to struggle to keep the peace. Also while Fohl owning B*tch would troll both her and her father he isn't really in a position to influence Siltvelt's actions at the moment. There is also how Trash acted when he saw Atla's face.

@@Poglavnit_Pferdefuhrer An issue is there is more then one version. First came the web novel, which has since finished, and the light novel, which is ongoing but has enough content for four seasons. Aside from one chapter someone linked me I have not read the web novel, but it's my understanding L'Arc and Therese aren't in it, having been invented for the light novel. At least that's my take away from the Wiki. I read the physical copies of the light novel and I'm up to volume 15, with 16 being out but because of the lock down I haven't gotten it yet. That should also cover all three seasons of the anime. Raphtalia got two extra chapters, which found their way into the anime, this includes her backstory and the trip to the hot springs. Moyotasu, Melty, Fitoria, Naofumi, Itsuki, and Glass each got extra chapters before they stopped doing it. For some reason Ren didn't. As for what B*tch has to do, I still haven't gotten to where they explain it. The Queen has been dancing around telling Naofumi exactly what it is, but we've gotten small hints. Given what B*tch is and that this was part of a deal to prevent war, you could make a guess. As for how she feels about it, I could give you a minor spoiler from the one chapter I've read online. *Spoiler Warning!* She volunteers to become Naofumi's slave and act like a pig for the rest of her life, humiliating herself for his amusement, as she finds that preferable to doing the other thing.

Fun thing to think about is that because the other heroes treat all this like a video game they get and understand all these game like mechanics but Naofumi treats this world more like real life so that how he is stronger then them but didn't get all the stuff the other heroes have. Something I believe is happening in this world is that the heroes strength and abilities are based on their perceptions and beliefs in this world. The level system seems to be dependent on the skill tree that they picked. I also think Fitoria has a hand in guiding Filo into the optimum character build. The Filoial Queen isn't just rare, she's unique among her species because only one gets born per generation. There are many ways to upgrade your weapons and items but only Naofumi experimented on all of them, hence his clear (stat) gap. Walking around also helped because he discovered a lot more things on the way instead of just teleporting. I've said it again and again, don't put any stock on the other heroes.

It's not that he had to pay attention to the screens, the weapon system creates mechanics around the belief each hero has of the weapon they wield, so it can grow and evolve in very dynamic ways. If you think about it, the teleport wouldn't have been that helpful. I mean, they gained a lot of experience and met a lot of people thanks to their travels.

the teleport skill is also rather restrictive. It can only travel to places you basically have visited and saved in a log, which can only save up to 3 places at the same time. also you need to feed your weapon with the sand from dragon hourglass to gain access to the skill, it's pretty much impossible for him to get until after queen cleaned up the church

In the original manga and light novel, Motoyasu tried to force Naofumi and the Queen to undo B!tch's punishment. The queen shut him up by pointing out her punishment is very light. So for some messed up reason, he's still loyal to her.

Filo couldn't freely select a class upgrade because she is forced into the Queen path. But; spoiler... Raphtalia couldn't either not because of Filo, but because she is also of (exiled) Royal blood, a Heir to the Q'ten-Lo Monarchy, that's why she is a Red Raccoon and not a regular one. Naofumi's party is always made of Royal Heirs, even moving forward.

a thing to note is that other heros are hard core gamers from their worlds. there way of getting stronger is how there respected game work. also to note that the games they played is somewhat based of the world they are in now. naoufumi isnt hard core gamer like everyone hes plays on hes free time.hope this gives a lil insight they all arguing because they trying to say there way is stronger. naofumi uses all three meothed to get stronger,showing that nun of them wrong
