oh, wow, I didn't even catch that I thought Madoka was trying to break Miki's fall, but I only just noticed Miki was still trying to attack/connect with Mami very sharp, and thanks for noticing Madoka appears naive at times, but as a magical girl she's incredibly perceptive, it's scary almost (I think, just maybe, as a magical girl she's constantly focussing on the 'souls' of the others around her, or something like that, so she can quickly tell when things go wrong. just spec.)

i haven't watched this series but what stuck with me was "please go back to your old self" often there is no going back to an old self, sometimes i wish i could go back to being the child who felt genuine joy and excitement, but it's so long gone that it seems almost incomprehensible to me now

@@kai_maceration in context, the one they are saving is a very cheerful person and calling herself the "strongest" magical girl. But it turns out she is just putting out a front because she became really depressed. She blames herself for not being there when one of her friends got turned into a witch and died. She also felt left behind when her friends veered of their own paths (one become a trainer for younger magical girls, one became a college student and start working alone as a magical girl, one joined a very shady cult). It hurts more when the one who's trying to save her is the one who made her felt that way even though she doesn't hate her

Seeing Tsuruno get broken and twisted physically was deeply disturbing as I quite like her and don't want to see Tsuruno be treated so horribly by the rumour. I'm sorry Touka but you need someone to slap you in the face and verbally chew you out before giving you a good spanking to knock some sense into you. I'd like Yachiyo to be that person. As for Alina, for negatively influencing Touka to pull stunts like this, she deserves a good asskicking and to have all her artwork burned in front of her as punishment for her crimes including corrupting cute lolis such as Touka and Nemu.

I always thought it was weird that the key to saving Tsuruno was admitting she wasn't the mightiest magical girl, meanwhile every girl around her either has a Doppel, became a Witch, or died. Considering how much despair she had to tank long enough to get to the point of fusing with an Uwasa, WITHOUT any of that happening to her? She's the mightiest in my book, easily. And keep in mind she did all of this while largely surviving on Banbanzai's menu, which is only halfway decent. This girl is not only the mightiest, she's damn near invincible. The only thing that actually damaged her was Yachiyo's attempted friendship, which kinda figures...

This is from Magia Record, a spin off series which went along with a now gone gacha game. It primarily focuses on characters other than those from Madoka Magica, in another city, where the curse of becoming a witch has been broken, but other twisted dangers lurk. You could also easily assume that this is one of the many timelines Homura experienced and then abandoned to try again. The original quintet do all appear in the later parts of the show. It’s not as good as Madoka Magica. But it is good and enjoyable and the twisted tale it weaves expands on the horror of being a magical girl and the cost of wishes

作画は素晴らしいんだけどさ、まどマギの真髄ってストーリー面とかイヌカレーさんの独特なデザインにあると思うんだよね。マギレコアニメは、ストーリーが尻すぼみなのに対して、作画への熱意だけ凄かったというか…。バトルシーンだけ唐突にアクションが凄くなって、ちがうだろー！まどマギが魅せるのはそこじゃないだろー！的な…。まあ自分がめんどくさいオタクなのかな😅映画はどうなるか…期待してます
