Stopped eating beef, chicken, and pork 3 months ago and went pescatarian. Transitioned from pescatarian to plant based 2 weeks ago and have been detoxing for a week now! I have no desire for the processed sugar and sweets anymore. If I want something sweet I’ll eat an apple and some dates! I also haven’t had any inflammation or headaches since I started eating healthier.

Took me a week, but you can use lemon or grapefruit (bitter and contains natural sugar). When I started working out, I was learning from Mike Chang, a trainer out here in Texas. I would drink water throughout the day, and for dinner, I'd have lemonade with my meal. After a week, I attempted to drink a soda and it was way too sweet. Didn't even crave chocolate. I did try Snickers, way too sweet. I had won and still do it to this day. It's also how you can train your body to want different foods by replacing items you eat with better options. So, in the case of processed, synthetic sugar, eat foods with natural sugars, like fruits. Once the body breaks that stuff down and makes inventory of what it gets from that item, and it's more and of a better quality? Your body will start to crave it over what it used to crave. Your cells are like people in that once they experience better, they'll always choose that over what's worse.

But that’s cuz sugar is normalized, otherwise most kids in candy are taught not to eat candy. U don’t really have a sugar problem if u quitting cigarettes m, waaaaay harder. Candy literally makes u feel like shit

I drank only water and unsweetened white, black and red teas. My sugar cravings stopped and even a piece of gum was too sweet, weight dropped also.

I would say eat more veggies. Thats what i did. I still eat sugar in some form but i dont crave it as much. Also try to stay busy. When you busy you dont eat as much. So fasting is easier to do

I started foraging plants for medicine and eating them either straight out the ground or making tea from them. I also spent the summer eating fruits straight from trees. It reset my entire system, I lost 20+ pounds, it's a year later and it's still off. Having always had liver problems following hepatitis, I notice my liver works better for sure. Food tastes amazing now too, and I crave natural foods. I even started growing my own at home. I don't really get hungry any more. It's real.

I'm following this brother's teaching & I found out that water taste fresher & I enjoy drinking water now. Before, I use to not like water at all. After reprogramming my taste buds, water has a whole different taste !

I’m definitely applying this knowledge, I went vegan before but I did it wrong. When I cut out all meat I was relying on mostly sugar , this time I’m going whole plant based , whole raw foods I don’t desire the candy or chips or packaged foods nomore

I can say for sure that fasting works. I restricted my diet to nothing but fresh fruits, vegetables, trees nuts and sardines for three months to cleanse myself of all the alcohol I consumed for years and noticed afterwards that I didn't crave candy like I did before. What was even more shocking was that I began enjoying foods that I had always hated before such as raw onions and brussel sprouts.

I went on the potato diet and ate only potatoes for a month and only once a day. When I went back to eating other stuff. The first thing I ate was fish and I could taste the metal. it was so gross.

He is 💯% correct, you can be free from eating sugar and salt which are poisonous to the body. It may take a few years to reverse everything but do exactly as he is saying. Detox is important because it helps get rid of parasites in the body, they really want all that bad food, they are the cause of the bad eating habits, its what they want not you. Drink plenty of lemon/ lime water. Stay safe.

I actually did this earlier this year. I changed my diet and things like dark chocolate and coconut water started to taste different to me. In a good way because prior to doing so I was eating and drinking everything under the sun loaded with sugar smh.

This world is a mess, we have to take responsiblity for our selves and implement changes in our lives and educate ourselves so that food manufacturers cannot dictate or program our eating habits by tricking us with food and drinks. I appreciate people that realize and research the different technique that are been used to sell products that are harmful to our bodies and mental health. Does anyone have any advice to help reset tastebuds of toddlers? I'm pretty sure my son's mom wouldn't want my son's older brother who is 4 to try fasting. Me and her view life differently so she started raising her first son on the standard American diet and he loves sweets. My son turns 1 May 15th and I've having him eat only plant based when I'm around but his mom has a hard time breaking old habits and attachment to food. I appreciate any advice anyone has.

With a child that small, you will have to ensure that he/she is getting proper nutrients. If the child is lacking in Chromium, they will have a sweet tooth. Fix that first and then go from there. Also...invest in mini cookie cutters and cut up healthy food into stars and shapes. Kids love that. Be an example as well. Kids will eat that they see you always eat

It’s great you’re shaping his palate when he’s with you. Keep doing that. He will grow up liking those foods. To this day my daughter loves veggies because I started her early. Kudos.

I've been where you are it really is about teaching them to eat bitter foods. And slowly reduce the sweetness of foods they like. This means often having to bake your own and put less sugar in the brownies etc until you can get away with them not wanting it anymore.

YOU SHOULD BE FASTING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. No eating at work at all. HAVE YOUR MEAL WHEN YOU LEAVE WORK AND THEN REST. train your body that way

@@west4Bmovement ok. So when I’m on days I won’t eat till noon and have one more meal before leaving work to go workout. And when on nights, I’ll eat at noon and stop at 6 to fast for the rest of the night. I work 6-6 either days or nights.

2 years ago, autoimmune disorder diagnosis of NMOSD. One month out of the hospital, I switched to the Dr Sebi guide by fasting and detoxification. After doing that my taste buds were definitely reset. Foods that I never liked were very good, most things on the alkaline guide. I also intermittent fast. 16 fast/8 eat hours. It does help with cravings. It's been 2 years since my last detoxification. I need to do another one. 🙏🏾
