I'm a mechanical engineering student who is dedicating their entire career to electric vehicles. Currently I am interning at BMW working with their electric vehicles. I've been saving up my money from the internship to try and get a Tesla. The affordability for electric vehicles right now is decent but it's not where it needs to be. If Trump gets rid of this, it would only make it harder for people like me who want to get an electric vehicle but don't yet make the big bucks to get one.

There is a market for EVs. EM said years ago to let the market decide. I suspect he has done all his numbers on this assumption and never expected the Biden Greenie communist bubble to last forever. So he is not losing sleep over Tesla and the horrid Cybertruck (even if Trump had fun with his gift from Adin Ross), he has far bigger plans and can see a huge horizon elsewhere.

As a consumer, I find it ridiculous not only to look for and decide on the EV of choice, but also have to do research and have proof and documentation to show the components did not come from some country that is on a blacklist. If I buy an EV, I will do it based on its own merits.

This guys do not understand EV market at all. Without support of Bidden, legacy auto makers cannot even survive but Tesla can take over the entire market. Bidden has been discriminating Tesla just because of his political interests over national interests. Without Tesla, us auto industry will collapse in the future.
