Seems like a great rod holder for trolling. Gotta say, this sure was a bold (?) musical choice. Kind of felt like I was watching a 70's porno, except with actual rod holder, not rod holders in a euphemistic sense

The Omega with the LockNLoad mounting system will be a great solution for trolling. Easy one hand adjustment and it won't every slip or rotate while in the track.

Hello for a Vibe Shearwater 125 kayak it is better to add an aluminum guide. It's stronger? thanks!

The track on the Shearwater should be substantial. If you want to add some strength to the install swapping the stock LockNLoad base included with the rod holder for the HD track mount could be an option. The HD base has two points of contact in the track creating more resistance and a wider base to distribute the load: www.yakattack.us/hd-mount-locknload-track-base-lnl-1006/

Having troubles getting the base off ?

The key is to make sure you are opening the base using the inner safety trigger. It will not release unless the inner trigger is pulled outwards.

Does this base attach to the mighty mount xl and mighty mount 2 as well?
@YakAttackKayakFishing4 жыл бұрын
The LockNLoad base featured on our line of rod holders like the Omega series is compatible with the MightyMount XL and MightyMount II as well our our GT175 and GT90 GearTrac. It is not compatible with the original MighytMount.
