Crosswind takeoff?

Whoever was the supplier of those fans must of made a fortune in Russia. It seems that everything that flew - excepting jet fighters - had them fitted. There was fair old cross-wind blowing on that takeoff and a cockpit crew of 3! No wonder nothing made a profit.
