Yeah. Her whole side story is about how she's a cop who came to Japan chasing after a Filipino criminal with her partner hilariously named "Marcos" and Tanimura helps her out. In return, he gets some sparring sessions where you learn moves or upgrade Tanimura's parry timing window.
