@@leobardoestrada848 started playing yakuza, like a dragon recently as my first entry into the series and i'm gonna be honest, just looking at trailers and all i wasn't sure about ichiban. like i only knew him as this dude with the bat and the crazy hairstyle, but damn has he grown on me. - currently on chapter 5 and he's like the one person i would without question swear my life too. his passion and positive outlook really are inspiring, but what truly makes him great in my eyes is that he isn't just this perfect protagonist without any flaws. at points he does mess up, like when he tried to rile up all the homeless guys early on without taking into consideration that some of them are just to broken at this point. however when made aware of this reality by nanba he accepted his own failure to consider others feelings, yet he still kept to his own creed of moving forward without any hesitation.

The stereotype that America attaches to karaoke is that you either do while so you don't care if you sound terrible, or you're sober and already don't care and just want to have fun and sing some songs you like. I think either way this English version encompasses that.
