It's always the case, especially in boss fights, and not just in RGG. Frankly, this "bosses always have mooks assisting them" trope is nothing but artificial difficulty and needs to go the way of the dinosaurs. "Keep the mooks but fight them separately from the boss" is a far better option, like in the first encounter with Shimano.

One more tip with that Kiwami technique. You have all the time in the world to do it even if you see that opponent is recovered, you have 1-2 seconds to do it and you should do it AS FAST as you can, without any pause, right after that last kick lands on his fat ass press triangle, the longer you take the less hp it'll take

The only reason I even mentioned Yakuza 0 in my original comment was because they had the chance to make some slight changes that better fit his reputation which they built up over the course of 0's story, since this was a remake made _after_ that game.

There is "Receive You Reborn", which is used for this fight in Ryu ga Gotoku Kiwami (As seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZ-xoYGZn9Z_sNk), but it seemingly isn't featured in Yakuza Kiwami at all as far as I'm told (Not a clue if it's just in North America or absent in European Releases as well). It's very unfortunate, as it's "Kiwami" without question! (Although the signature 🎶Rolling Eyes Fall... Ruling Dies Out...🎶 is absent). Otherwise, "Receive You The Prototype" has a "Receive You Kiwami" remix for the Majima Everywhere fights, with "Receive You The Prototype" itself making it's return for the Majima Everywhere climatic fight.
