Love this, does it have to have the switch mounted ? I would rather no switch and the light comes on when in Reverse only

No you do not need to use the switch. It can be used without.

So I tapped into that reverse light wire. Its 11.78 volts positive. Hooked that up to a relay and it still won't work. What gives?
