For my blaster ive ran all types of octane throughout my ownership, 110 is what I run now after heavy porting and engine work. With the porting i had done my motor would run at 380-400 degrees on the head with pump 93, as soon as i changed over to 110 leaded race fuel my head temps would only reach 220-240 even after a full day of riding on the trails. In short if you have the compression to burn 110 then i would highly recommend running it, it will aid in the longevity of the top end significantly.

I'm probably to poor to keep 110 around lol, I would like to though.

I have more recent videos of the head installed with me riding around on it. All the videos newer than this one have the head. Check out my channel.

Please do a compression test I would love to know how much that head adds to it. I recently made my own high compression head and I would love to compare

I have a harbor freight branded compression gauge it probably wouldn't be much help as they always read so much different.

What do you have as the like mud flap/heel guards? Need some for mine and looking around
@TeeOna2Stroke10 ай бұрын
These are guards i picked up from a ltz400 they pretty much just bolted right up. I think I took a grinding wheel to it to modify it just a tad but it was super easy.

If your running g a high compression head u might want to use race gas to keep the temperature down

Hi was thinking of getting one made for a while now but is it worth getting and how long have you driven after this video and has it cause any issues
@TeeOna2Stroke Жыл бұрын
It's been on for several weeks now. Put maybe 3 or 4 hours on it with no complaints. The $175 ish dollars I would say it's worth it. This one I got from tach out performance was shipped to me in like 2 days.
@jade8985 Жыл бұрын
@@TeeOna2StrokeI will just get mine made here since I'm from Namibia the shipping will be way expensive but as for cold starts how is it and is there more compression
@TeeOna2Stroke Жыл бұрын
@@jade8985 definitely more compression as I can feel it just kicking is over, but is nothing crazy or alarming to were it will change your kicking routine.

What kinda tach speedo is that? Do you think it’s accurate?

It's a trail tech universal kit. It's really accurate until it freaks out at 60mph, haven't figured that out yet haha 😅
