Amazing job. I get to see your video since I'm watching to buy an fjr with the second gear broken down ... I see that removing the engine took more work than I thought... I'm rethinking buying it. Thanks for the video

It is not a easy task, but I bought mine for $800 and a motor for $750 off ebay. I used it for probably 5k miles for commuting then sold for $2600. I made a little money and saved on gas. I would not want to split the bottom case and change the gears out. Thanks for the comments and I have more to come on the channel

You should have reversed the center stand mounting bolts while you had the exhaust off. You have to remove center stand to to service needle bearings in rear shock pivot arm. Some people cut the bolts off and replace with the heads turn inwards. Thumbs up installing the new engine by yourself.

I finished it enough to daily drive it. Still had the shift light on and no neutral light, but ran and shifted great
