That was the CVT Air intake under the front cover not the engine intake. Engine intake is above and forward of the Airbox access under the seat.

Very nice. I like the new design of the Grizzly 700. The added storage compartments and the handlebar mounted headlight are nice features.

Got a 2008 grizzly 700 eps/camo ducks Unlimited. Bought new, still going strong and never had a problem. Still a beast. Wife uses it on the farm. Wouldn't mind another one so we can hit the trails together. Often thought of mods but its plenty fast. Tuners to get even better performance just haven't found the right one

You’ll be able to go / get anywhere pretty much. Have the exact same machine. It’s a beast. Actually overkill for what I usually need, but I’m very happy with it. I think you will be too. Have fun!

How do the tires fair? Are they rough on the hard pack? Rocks?

Square ture set up would of been better if they ran the rear sized tire instead of fronts, I changed the tires right away.

I love Yamahas. I have a 2008 Big Bear IRS and it’s runs better than any other four wheeler out there and I put it through big mud fest. We bought a 2018 Kodiak 700 EPS and the thing is so fast and it shreds the competition

I live around mostly hard pack and a substance called chat. It is a ground up material from mining that looks like sand but is a bit bigger. I see the tires look like they are more or mud but wonder if they would work in this area? Chat packs down when dry almost like cement gets loamy when wet like sand. Interested in the grizzly just not sure on the tire set up

They should work fine for that, I wouldn’t debate over a machine because of the tires that come on it.

I’m looking at buying a Grizzly. I have been looking at the eps model that is 10k. I plan on installing a winch which would bring it closer to 10500 maybe a little less. The XT r model comes with a winch for 11k. Which would you consider the better option? I’m mainly going to be plowing with it with some relaxed trail riding no mudding or anything. I think one of the big selling points of the XT r is the tires and wheels but I really don’t need anything that aggressive it may even be over kill for what I’m doing with it. I do like the winch that’s included and the special edition plastics but I’m unsure if I should jump up to the XT r for a little more money or stick with the slightly cheaper power steering model and just add the winch. Any advice? Thanks for the video.

Its your purchase and your preference. the x-tr is probs overkill and a grizzly is honestly if plowing but if your trail riding I understand. I would look at it like this thought, if you don't get it you might wish you had gotten the x-tr even if you didn't need the wheels and tires or extra fancy plastics. vs if you have the extra money and willing to spend it I'd get the x-tr and your not gonna have maybe any second thoughts or regrets is what I would say.

Also I’m not sure what winch you would install but that warn winch in that machine is like $600 if you were to buy it without installation

@@BrickNick931 thanks for the reply. I’m leaning towards getting the eps model as I like the color a bit more and the black wheels. The warn 2500lb winch from Yamaha is $300 that’s the one I’d go with. But as you mentioned I don’t want to regret not paying a little more for the XT r so I’m def going to look into it. I had a can am 570 it was a nice unit I’m thinking the grizzly will be even better. Thanks again

hi i just bought a 2021 grizzly eps in armor grey. I got this one because it was the last one available for hundreds of miles lol. I had a 2017 grizzly but couldnt trust the subaru engine and it ran hot and popped alot on decel. I didnt have any problems all the same . It ran well . I loved the ride quality and fit/ finish. I decided to sell it before the engine gave me trouble. I then bought a 650 outlander max. It was nice but I hated the clutching engaging in and out , drove me nuts and the 18 grease nipples that were torture to access. I sold it and just got a new grizzly. I personnally like the 12" rims as they allow larger wheels to have more sidewall flex which gives a softer ride . My outlander had 14 " rims and I didnt like them that much for that reason. I use my quad for trail riding and hunting. I also like the revised/ improved engine, lower vibration , 6% gear reduction, larger display. These changes address all issues with the grizzly. I dont care for more power, i rarely travel at high speed as Im always looking around at the sites around me. For this, the grizzly fits the bill... Anyways I hope this helps. Enjoy your new ride.

What is the difference between the EPS SE XTR and an EPS SE? What did you pay out the door?

The eps se does not come with the winch I believe and may or may not come with the better plastics that are found on the XT-R all the info on that and the models is on Yamaha website also pricing

I have a 2020 xtr griz, 1st thing I changed are the shitty tires, can't understand why they put front tires on the rear, 30 inch monster mayhams with front n rear sizing. NO LIFT NEEDED FOR 30s , no clutching needed either, works great 👍

Explain what are you talking about, front tires on the rear? Its a square set up all four are the same size. So your saying you put 30" monsters on the front and rear.

Changes speed by the clutch’s and not by the belt 😂🥴 I’ve seen people put gloves in here and they won’t start 😂😂 that’s not how that works, your belt temp would go up or it would suck them in. Congrats on the grizzly

There’s a reason I had a 2006-660, 2010-700 eps and a 2019 SE. you get exactly what you pay for. You can say what you want about any other machine. I have never been left walking on a Yamaha. Polaris, Can-Am are great machines- very prone to mechanical/electrical suicide. Honda is not even an option, over priced under powered. Yeah I know they never break, bullshit.

My 2016 Grizzly 708 eps has left me walking many times. First 2 years spent more time in the shop than in my possession. Sad part is I've waited years to buy a reliable Yamaha Grizzly. Turned out to be one of the most unreliable ATV's I've owned. Very disappointed with Yamaha.

Yamaha is really great atv, but they should have 2up versions. I bought Cfmoto and it's only not cheaper, but also have the same controls like Yamaha with 2wd/4wd and diff-lock. But you having a good atv there that will last for years.

I have a Honda foreman 500 Rubicon it's never let me down but id trade it for one of these if someone offered. I'm thinking of selling mine and getting a 700 I ride 2up a lot and the 500 only has so much power.

@@caseyjoyce3395 I also have a Honda Rubicon i bought new in 2002 4500 miles on it only issues is the rear axle bearing fell apart, and the propeller shaft u-joint seized up. Bought this new Yamaha 700 Grizzly XT-R, what a difference in handling, comfort, etc. Gave the Rubicon to my grandson, new technology is wonderful
