yamaha md-bt01 bluetooth to midi adapter (revised video with commentary)

A quick demo of using the Yamaha MD-BT01 bluetooth LE to midi adapter with midi-communication to an iPad.

no problem- guess this is just a side-effect of bluetooth LE. Quite frustrating if you're not aware. There are other apps (the yamaha freebies) that discover the MDBT within them and also bring the MDBT to the list of bluetooth devices.

i've started using yamaha's "faders" app as an alternative to "midi wrench". Its a small freebie and only used it to "kick start" the presence of the MD-BT01 device.

Can Yamaha MDBT 01 midi bluetooth device connect in to the akai mpc x bluetooth. I want to sync keyboard sequence to akai mpcx sequence. It's possible or not possible. If it's not possible Please tell any other bluetooth midi device can connect in to the Akai mpcx bluetooth to sync keyboard sequence.

Puede ser porque necesitas una aplicación que reconozca el dispositivo. No aparece como un dispositivo bluetooth por sí mismo. Ciertas aplicaciones activarán la conexión bluetooth, como se ve en el video. Lo siento, no puedo ayudar más. yo no hablo español. Por favor busque las respuestas en internet

I've been using it with a yamaha s90 and Cubase with a MBP. It's very glitchy on playback. Don't buy it if you want flawless midi playback.

bondsongmusic How do you know its this device? It could be the bluetooth driver in the computer. Im not endorsing or defending the product. Just considering any other factors that may be contributing to the problem. You done the firmware update?
