By the way, hearing the bad-weather-sound, I renember a concert with a wind orchestra playing a piece where thunderstorm occured. I loaded down two pro samples of thunderbolt (for less than 5 €) and loaded them into the MODX. It is so easy, no additional editor necessary. Especially with percussion instruments, one can use sound snippets of instrument demos on YT, edit zhem with any consumer audio software on PC and load it into MODX/Montage, for example as part of an existing percussion set. Unfortunately, that cannot be easily shared via Soundmondo due to license restrictions, which is OK, so, every user has to do this by himself.

Do it! The MODX offers Montage sounds at a nearly unbeatable price point. It is a quite portable keyboard, too. In the meantime, they should be available also on the second hand market. On the other hand - I‘ll never sell my MODX 7.

Great stuff, are you using the instruments contained within the montage to conserve the limited storage space? Also, can you make a performance with more choral voices? The montage seems to have limited voices......the doo wop stuff is cool just wish they offered more variety.....

I have a Korg Kronos, but this demo makes me want to get the Montage! I'd like to have both. btw, i bought Gerrits sounds for the Kronos, they are excellent and he's not only professional, but a very nice person, he emails me whenever i have questions, and trust me, it's nice having a pro you can consult with. Thanks again Gerrit, great sounds, i'm jealous! :)

@@anderslundolsen6489 I just sent my New Korg Kronos 2 back as i didn't like the Pianos on it at all my own Yamaha CP4 has far better pianos, but i have to say the Wurly's on the Kronos were out of this world i also found it a complicated machine.

@@paulallenMacca Sounds like you are not ready for a Kronos. It is programable you know. Too many people these days are content to buy other peoples efforts rather than explore the potential of their keyboard and make their own Sounds/Combis. By the way the Kronos can do all this!

They are both very good instruments . But if you want to program your own sounds I would choose the Montage
