Seems important but my boat dealer had already run mine at all different speeds. I don't know how much my following the break in procedure was necessary after the dealer had test run it before I got there and with me.

Thanks for video question please what prop do you have with this rig. I am repowering this fall going from a 150 VMAX 2 stroke to the SHO 150 4stroke I am running a 23 pitch Yamaha now and your thoughts on running this prop with a 4stroke. Thanks for your time

Можешь ещё раскачать этот двигатель заменив эбу ( либо перепрошивка эбу) на 200 сил, от ямаха ф200ф 4 цилиндра 2.8 литра. По железу --- распредвалы там одинаковые, надо глянуть есть ли задушающий рестриктор во всасывающем диффузоре. Если рестриктора нет, то только перепрошивка эбу и получишь 200 сил--- будешь гонять))))! Привет из России!

Like Eric said, starts at $44k but that is with cheap locators, no spot lock trolling motor, and no shallow water anchors. Would not be hard to add $8k-$10k to that price if you wanted spot lock, shallow water anchors, and high end Solix locators to have it equipped like this one.

Can you troll at 6mph after 10 hr for long periods at a time

Yes. Just make sure give it wot during the break in period, seals the rings. Know someone with a 115 sho on a pontoon boat with 1200hrs at mostly idle

Its never a good idea to hold any motor at wide open throttle Continuously for more than 5 minutes. Always good to vary throttle from time to time and find a nice cruise speed less than wide open. This will help prolong life in any motor.

These motors are designed to be run hard and at wot consistently.

I bet the vast majority never does this with a new outboarder! The first thing they do is going full throttle to show off. 😂😂
