No question the Yamaha PSR-E373 has terrific sounds, Yamaha has made significant improvements over the PSR-E363. If it had a pitch bend wheel, and a better keybed I'd own one. Regardless, you can't go wrong, it's a tremendous value for money. Excellent review of the effects system, good job as always Jeremy.

Indeed! We consumers are the beneficiaries of fierce competition. Amazing what $199 gets us in a keyboard in 2021. 😊

@@JeremySee Even with the car review videos, you often have myriads of people commenting that this car should have this and that, but they don't get it. It is what it is for many reasons. Often it's not that they are aren't able to, even if they were aware of that, for the major reason that it has extra cost involved. But also, that was not their objective for that particular model. Like the Toyota Camry TRD. People say it shoukd have more power, a turbo or what not, but no matter what you tell them, they don't get that Toyota wants more reliability and longevity, and less cost and legal litigation if problems and safety issues arises. Also, it sometines is a corporate and marketing decision, and doing such, will detract sales from their more upscale vehicles. The same applies to keyboards. You get an awesome lot of bang for your buck $ or money, compared to years ago, but they need to pay expenses, and become profitable to stay in business. It's like lots of people have powerful and high performance handling and braking cars, but really don't know how to drive them like professional racers, commercial drivers, law enforcement, etc., and often it can be overkill, beyond their ability, and at times dangerous. It's often an ego thing to envision yourself as a great driver, player, or with the latest and greatest. But self promotion is hype, like people who call themselves actors, singers, dancers what not, instead of an aspiring one in training, when they have no training, knowledge, experience, and abilities at that time, or at least minimal. I like the nice performance cars and keyboards, but would not spend the money on super expensive cars that often end up with maintenance and repairs almost much as the vehicke itself. The cars I would get are good performers, but practical and reliable, reasonably affordable vehicles. I have my favorite dream keyboards, as I did in the past, but been there and done that, I am not a professional gigging and performing musician, composer or producer, etc., so I don't need that RD 88 or V Combo, but I can do what I need with what I have, and plan to get. There was a time I had a whole lot of money. I got my Fantom X6 and lots of other instruments, some just to have available for my friends to play, but I didn't go hog wild and get everything I wanted. I got each item of gear for a planned reason and purpose. So like now, I scrutinize everything snd don't get what I don't need or could make use of, and discern when I should get them. For most aspiring keyboard players here, this PSR-E373 would be ideal if they want to go the arranger route, or the CT-S1. I already mentioned the practical wish list of features, like you often do in most of your videos. For most, these keyboards will be keepers for years to come. For the more ambitious, envisioned, inspired and motivated, they may be great stepping stones and still be good to keep in their audio arsenal, even though the upgrade to something better. I often have friends with wives that say they have too many guitars. For some they need them, like you have all your keyboards, because that's what you do, not just a hobbyist, dabbler. So yeah, people have said the JD-Xi keys are cheap and flimsy, and maybe even the Reface Series. But the PSS-A50 has it and is only $100. I really can't tell much difference. They are mini keys, you can't get much better thsn that. And look what Masataka Kono and Yohan Kim can do with them. I rest my case. It's more your acquired skill that a great musicisn can make even a cheap instrument sound heavenly, like exemplified in the soung about the touch of the master's hand. An old dusty violin no one wanted at and auction until someone picked it up, dusted it off, and played it beautifully. I bought that PSS-A50 for that reason, maybe even the Go:Keys, but already had my JD-Xi before I saw Yohan Kim. Like I said a while ago, everyone has to see the big picture. Have their long-range goals, and aspirations, but be practical and gradual, not be starstruck. It's not a contest if for your personal enjoyment. If you have goals, then it's you motivation to be more focused, dedicated and disciplined to work harder, but let it be fun, not laborous and tedious.

Effects can enhance any voice to make it sound amazing! No other keyboard under $200 seems to have effects that can enhance voices as well as the PSR-E373 does. The Super articulation button is what sets this keyboard apart from other competitors at this price.

I just ordered an E373. I’ve been a fan of yours since 2019, when i wanted to get the E363 keyboard but I wasn’t sure it was a great investment - I got bored of playing keyboard after it and I just got back in to it, so I feel like this is the best investment right now. Now the sound 2 on the synth(concert gr piano) sounds very weird, even after disconnecting the midi cable, i feel it started sounding like the daw inbuilt sound. I tried resetting the keyboard as well but it was of no help ..😟😟

We don't want a beginner keyboard / digital piano and dont mind a price bump in comparisom from the best bang for your buck keyboards i've seen in your videos, any reccomendations of an digital piano, it has to be 88 keys / full-size It is a first digital / eletric keyboard, but have had many real pianos in the past and dont know where to start, i know about the fp 10 fp 30 and fp 90, the 125, psr, etc, just dont quite know which one will be the best buy as an long term investment.
