Why change 4k from 2 to 1?

For the older Yamaha AVR, 1 allows it to enable hdr mode but optional

(Google)Find the Yamaha website download updates to your pc than transfer to usb. Also it might not be available no more if you can’t find the package.

How did you connect it to a network? Following the instructions, I the info/straight buttons dont do anything when held down for WPS/MusicCast respectively. My antenna is plugged in and I tried a factory reset. :(

You have to have the Ethernet cable’s connected, also it might not work for your model

I have a Yamaha Rx a3070 and on its screen it tells me straight instead of telling me atmos, it turns on automatic in straight and it doesn't allow me to change it to another way?

Straight is the standard for all the atmos and dts:x original sources; the only way to change that is by using the enhanced button

If your using Ethernet and not working then it could be a defect in the Yamaha

@hoodeddragons it keeps internet, it just drops the yamaha app connection. I have to keep powering amp off and on to get it to connect to yamaha app.

Update only for general purposes that the factory decides to add in firmware, in this case it’s been so long I forgot what the recent ones was for but usually I just try to keep my devices up to date if necessary.
