While the Yamaha Tenere 700 clutch is well designed for casual riding, technical off road riding with heavy clutch work can quickly fatigue a riders hand and forearm, leading to a long uncomfortable ride home. Reduce rider fatigue and increase clutch feel with the AltRider Clutch Arm Extension for the Yamaha Tenere 700.
Replaces OEM clutch arm
Lever is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized black
Clevis clip is formed from Stainless steel
Designed to reduce clutch pull and increase feel
Reduces clutch pull effort by up to 33% over stock
Reduces hand fatigue in traffic and increases feel during off road riding
Designed to reduce clutch pull, which reduces hand fatigue, and increase the feel of the clutch The Altrider Clutch Arm Extension replaces the OEM clutch arm with an adjustable clutch arm extension. The extension is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized black, with clevis clip formed from stainless steel. The way I see it, if Yamaha used splines, there must be a reason for it. Without the splines, I imagine that it needs to be tighten tighter to generate enough friction to prevent it from slipping, which could damage the splines, couldn't it? I know someone else makes one with splines, I think I would rather go that route. But first I'll watch the installation video, see if that changes my mind.

Obviously, the choice is yours to make, but this has been a very successful product for us. So its on a lot of T7s out there, including one we had in house without any concerns. A spline isn't need for a strong engagement and you'll see that a number of other manufacturers don't put splines on theirs.

It sure is... Its a pretty small item and doesn't stick out from the engine case in any meaningful way...

my question exactly. mover over is this cheaper as his in eu ? well i dont want a softer pull. just more friction zone. and same pull

The biggest differences between the AltRider and Camel ADV version are that we don't change the geometry of the OEM clutch arm nor does the Altrider version require an additional bracket. We use a compression fit vs a rotabroached method which over time could wear and increase slop in the clutch pull.

Pricing in the US, AltRider is cheaper, I don't have their EU pricing at the moment so I am not sure there. With the increase in the friction zone with the clutch arm extension it creates a lighter pull by effect.
