The 2005 anniversary model is better looking and has a seat for a passenger. Most people don't know that they increased the vboost by 2mm on that model.

What do you mean? Generation 2 dont have a seat? Or maybe you are blind the new also have a seat OK it is just as small as the old one but it works. Just got back from a 2000km trip in Germany with my friend on that seat and no complains. By the way I agree with others kill the music...........

Uh, bad news, Sochiro: The Yamaha V Max is one of, if not THE most ill-conceived. poorest handling, worst braking, top-heaviest motorcycle to ever come from your favored Japan. Sure, its straight line acceleration is pretty good; not the quickest (Harley's V Rod is quicker) but that's about it, kid. "...THE BEST"?! Compared to what, kid?! You should have known.

The vmax will eat the rod in first gear then shits it out in second. Corner or straight line, brake or wheelie, the Rod cant be compared. I dont hate harley in fact i love some of their models and the history but most of their riders ruin everything for the company.

Yes b/c of the biased set up on the stock wheels of gen I. I have a Gen I, man kind gotta know their limitations with this bike. Gen II has radial set up, little bit safer, but still a torque monster.
