Absolutely fantastic review and thanks. Just bought a 2007 version three days ago and this video just confirmed my decision. Professional delivery on the detail and loved the honest opinions, keep it that way. Awesome job 👏🤙

Georgeous bike. I got one in metallic red. Could you tell me where I may get the small passenger backrest and pad? I really dig the look and efficiency!

I love my V-Star 1300. I changed the pipe out to a Cobra Pipe. Also, I put highlights all around and Viking saddle bags.

Hello. Great review. Could you tell me where you found the small passenger back rest? It makes a great look for the bike…👏👍🏼

I’ve just bought a 2008 model that had a Meta M357T-V2 alarm fitted from new. It’s a massive unit that required the original owner to ditch the battery box lid / tool tray ( and the tools). I’m worried that eventually wiring underneath will chafe, as it’s a really tight fit under the seat. The alarm loom seems to be solder spliced into wires at the start relay. The bike’s done just under 10,000 miles, supposedly without issues, but I like things to be near standard. I’ve bought a bypass connector, and just plucking up the courage to delete the Meta box, and plug the bypass in. Then cross fingers and hope it still fires up. Wish me luck.

It is interesting that you have 4 way flashers but my Canadian 08 doesn't

Hi great review. I'm about to buy a 2010 version. Where's the best place to get all of my accessories from? Thanks......

Love cruiser looks and this seems reasonable running cost wise. Im thinking of a bike for odd trip to coast etc just for fun and maybe later do some touring. Was looking at fjr1300 but this just looks and sounds cool, Ive had a virago 535 and really enjoyed it but ultimately found it a bit lacking in power and range and was hard work on motorways ... Reliable cheap motoring is important to me so a Harley is not really ideal....

Given the highway hawk accessories I'm wondering whether I've seen this bike for sale down south. It's also a 2008 and there's not many about. Did you sell this ?

I have a 1300 V Star Deluxe in Ontario and had an 08 model before that. A couple of things I don't agree with on your review is the passenger seat is hopeless and the headlight sucks. An aftermarket bulb or extra lights are a must. An ECU flash and an aftermarket intake will give you about 85bhp and really wakes the engine up.

At last a good informative video. Just selling my 2004 Triumph Daytona 955i to get one of these. Going to the dark side🇬🇧

How can you make just 70bhp from a 1300cc? That’s definitely muscle car territory. Nice review though.
